~ I guess I could be pretty pisst off about what happened to me... but, it’s hard to stay mad... when there’s so much beauty in the world.

Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. If you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything. There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friends. I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature.

Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence. True friendship is a plant of slow growth, and must undergo and withstand the shocks of adversity before it is entitled to appellation.
