Im using windows client and even though my pc is old, i have a graphics card Radeon HD 5760 which is pretty old, i never had issues playing the game untill this morning (is 9:15am here) Every time i try to run the windows client, i get the message "The runescape client suffered from an error during graphics initialisation"
1st, theres no recent update for the drivers. 2nd i already changed from normal mode graphics mode to compability mode and viceversa.
If this error has something to do with a new update realeased today can u plz solve it?
Thanks. Your best option is to upgrade your computer with a dedicated graphics card, or buy a new computer. Unfortunately, there is no estimated date on when this will be fixed, but I guess it's a matter of a few weeks or months.Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot!

thats right the very old solution is to blame the computer or the user this is a game client issue - there have been various failures and silly ppl seem to want to blame either the computer or the user.
WTF is this shit? JAGeX... the game worked just great a week or so ago. Now it doesn't. You're wasting my time, thus my money. Thus, you are creating an atmosphere where you no longer deserve that money.
They [people in general] will sometimes say "update your graphics drivers "- people spout it all the time, but my graphics are JUST FINE and I don't WANT nor NEED to update them! Some people simply can't either. How about instead, they [developers] make their product COMPATIBLE and stop blaming end-users. How 'bout that? Some people have even tried doing that[updating drivers], as well as reinstalling the client (as I have also done), and still get errors. So....Clan:
Although adjusting Window's "compatibility mode" did NOT work, clicking the "Cog" icon on the RuneScape login settings, and then checking "Compatibility Mode" did work well enough for the time being (for me at least - thereby verifying it's definitely CLIENT-SIDE, as if there were any doubt).Clan:
