I finally got around to looking at the Warding design document and it seems like they used some ideas from this. Notably, the abyssal creatures giving some sort of material to improve Runecrafting pouches.

Which I think is great. Its moments like that that make me think "hey maybe they do read these."

Obviously, they do. They seem to take all of my and Jake's troll ideas such as Zulkath as legitimate suggestions for high level slayer monsters and such.

i support, i like the idea of upgrading the pouches plus the quest at least explains the rewards (though didnt read it fully)

Yea, problem with that... it devalues the people who have spend hundreds or thousands of hours of work to get, and if it was fast xp, the profit goes down, because no everyone can do it. If you want the elites, work for them. Soul/blood runes made runecrafting easy enough for those who don't like it. Luckily for the sake of the game, the majority does not agree with you. Enjoy training it the same as everyone else.


poll it runecrafting as it stands is garbage, just because some xp rate was unintentionally arbitrarily chosen over a decade ago doesnt mean the game has to stick to it for the rest of time...

The method suggested requires combat... so i think at least a 1.5x bump in optimal xp would be appropriate to compensate
