Hmm, would you mind giving a couple examples of these lorefails?

There haven't been lorefails in Meg's Cases, people who aren't paying enough attention THINK there are.

Well, why call something a lorefail when it's a pattern. When it's constant stream of knowing a few titbits without foreknowledge of it before meeting the thing in question, then it's an ability and not a fail.

Sorry, I pay too much attention to lore and it has driven me bonkers enough that I refer to myself in the third person in an inconsistent manner. To ask for a valid example of lorefail, you would have to ask someone who still has their sanity intact.

Not that those who point out lorefails are necessarily all that sane either...

But anyhow, here's something unrelated to bones in Meg's Cases with I found really interesting: in Turoth Reports Theft of a Sock, after investigating who could have 'scammed' the turoth in the Draynor sewers, the world guardian finds that it was Thessalia, a clothing merchant from all the way north in Varrock who sold the turoth two socks instead of three, as the turoth assumed she would while both were in Lumbridge. Thessalia claimed she was in Lumbridge because she was in need of thread, and was killing imps in order to obtain it.

O..o

Either the supply chain in Misthalin is severely messed up and in desperate need of some enterprising individual to make a killing in the crafting supply shipment business, or Jagex, creators of Runescape's lore, are themselves confusing gameplay mechanics and lore.

And if Jagex is fine with confusing gameplay mechanics and lore, why didn't Thessalia just go Al Kharid instead to Dommik's store? Or The Fancy Clothes shop in East Varrock? Or if she has a murderous obsession with imps, why not kill the ones in the G.E.? Or north of Varrock?

Do imps even drop thread?
Humility is self-destruction, pride is the destruction of all else. And He said, "
Let there be light.
"
And then there were none.

Also, you probably know Bones' bones apart because the other bodies are very old, and this one was kinda, how do I put this, fresh? Basically, an adventurer went missing somewhere with a lot of old dusty bodies... you go there and find a fresh body laying among all the old, dusty ones. NOW it could be SOMEONE COMPLETELY UNRELATED... but the actual chances of that? Yeah, no. It's him.

I haven't done the newest one yet, I'll let you know what you missed when I do.

Maybe we just... have visited that place so often that we KNOW when something is new there...

When they mentioned that creepy Burthorpe soldier walked with a limp, my first thought was of Lucien ("He walks with a slight limp";). But Lucien is dead!

That's what you think.

I feed my own bones to dogs, if I can. I want them to be excited to see me, one way or the other.

Also, on the topic of Bones. I assumed moss giants were vegetarians or something. I dunno, I guess it's the green color.

Maybe they are. They might just use ground-up bones as fertilizer (due to the phosphate levels).
Are you ready to enter the Mind of Rutha?
