The new Daily Challenges are way too good for Ironman mode. Don't get me wrong, I love sneaky XP on my Ironman. The Wintumber event brought me four Herblore levels I didn't have to gather for. But the dailies are super broken for the mode.

I have an overabundance of Vis Wax, so I just extend it every day and get like 100k experience in a matter of seconds. I realize it is probably too hard to nerf them just for Ironman, but some consideration would be appreciated.

It is a regular piece of game content, so there literally wouldn't be any reason to nerf it - ironman isn't a ''I'm so hard' mode', it means you're supposed to be self sufficient - and challenges aren't really something you need to rely on other players or MTX.

And yeah sometimes you're excluded from non-cosmetic parts of time limited events and promotions, but this is sometimes this, sometimes that - but challenges aren't time-limited either - so why exactly should they reasonably be nerfed for ironmen?

I think he has a valid point. XP actually means something in ironman mode, and I would like to ask Mod Shogun if he fully considered how this would effect ironpeople.

We use to be able to get about 360k xp for doing 2 small floors in under 5 mins now they get about 130k. Now its balanced out so I don't see the problem.

Vis wax is not free and you also need to buy or make the runes.

Caches gives 150k xp for 2 4 min games, you want to remove that also?

Iron accounts are meant to be competitive with each other so how is it fair if people like me already have 200m and newer players have to do it the slow way? Yes some skills are faster now but some are slower + they removed the reward bags so can no longer reuse 50% of the items like before. If the mode was not over 5 years old and we never had people on max xp I may have supported you but not now.

I am ok with a iron only vote but can not see you winning. (At least 750 total levels, no level 3 alts)

Have to agree with OP. Logged in this morning after 2 weeks of not playing and completed all 5 of my dailies within about 20 minutes and got a large amount of xp. Kind of miss the days where I had to fletch 336 magic shieldbows as it was an actual challenge but then again those Agility dailies were awful to do.

Where would you make a cut? Should every piece of permanent ingame content, that does neither rely on other players, nor MTX (fulfilling the two essential criterias for content to be made available to ironmen in the first place) and that is able to earn someone more than 100k xp/h nerfed for ironmen so they could make at most 100k xp/h to have XP actually mean something?

This needs to be polled, and only ironmen can vote.

All Jagex polling systems are not guaranteed. My condolence to the dead guaranteed content polls that serve no purpose and only make Jagex's game a laughingstock among its peers now. :(
