Hello everyone,

As a veteran oldschool RS player, I remember the fond moments of getting a new weapon and testing out its special attack.

You would always enjoy the D battle axe roar, the D claws multiple attack and so on.

I know the game mechanics have changed since with RS3, however we can see how the Seren GB and the Zaros GS have a special attack worth using the adrenaline on.

With the SoS I feel like the idea was nice, but the mechanics at the moment for the shadow clone are unworthy of a T92 weapon.

My suggestion would be as any of the following changes:
1) Have the special attack surround the foe in a shadow that causes typeless damage (similar to poison)
2) Have the summoned shadow clone as a tank that distracts mobs or bosses.
3) Summon an entity with multiple masks that will spin as a dice and if it lands on either, happy, sad, angry, or such a different effect comes into play (increased damage, increased defense, small hp recovery).

Any other ideas of what it could do that would increase the effect instead of a shadow clone that:
1) Often stands idly.
2) Dissappears too quickly.
3) Doesn't make that much of a difference in damage output.

I feel like this would somehow cause issues or get abused.

I really like this idea, only thing is it might not be very useful if the effects aren't properly balanced. However, anything is better than what we currently have and i do really want to see something like this give an identity to the staff. (right now it just feels like a better nox staff)

Yeah with option 2 (tank) was trying to see a way to get distinction from the other two Telos weapons since zgs feels like a support with dmg increase while sgb special is a dps style attack.

Feel that something that would go with Sliskean fight style would still fall into secrets, mysterios (like a dice) or pure shadow/poison damage, or confusion with ilussions (tank shadow)

But would love to hear other ideas or would be cool to see a list of ideas of how the random buff from the mask could be:
-Healing if smiling mask
-Defense up if shocked mask
-Attack up if angry mask
-Extra poison if laughing mask
