Can’t purchase god book (OSRS)

So I’m now playing osrs again after a while and I’m trying to purchase a god book, but Jossik says I have to show him a casket first. I’ve looked everywhere but I have no rusty casket, how do I fix this? (I have completed the horror from the deep quest)

Hi Twice Known,

Have you got all the required pages for the book you want to choose? Have you purchased a book in the past and lost it? You might have a rusty casket in your bank from doing the quest. You must read that first. If all is still not working then you can find the NCP Perdu , who can retrieve lost items for you, such as that of God Books for a fee.

Hi,

I’ve never purchased a god book after the completion of the quest, neither do I have a rusty casket in my bank. Maybe I dropped it I can’t remember... Also just checked Perdu and he has no god books either. What can I do? 😭

Are you sure the casket isn't in your bank somewhere? The guide says that if you drop it Jossik will say he "picked up the casket after you left it on the ground.", so I'm not sure how you could have lost it but he still wants it? We must smash the iron ceiling and end the oppressive maintriarchy.

Very odd this is happening. I would try searching the drawers and talking to him again to double check. Have you 100% completed the quest? Can you re-obtain the rusty casket possibly? If nothing seems to work, report this as an in-game bug via the report system in-game.
