We know the elder gods as ancient beings that created the universe itself. After sucking the anima out of the world they are currently on, just for poops and giggles they blow the rest of the universe up so they can make a new one. And The Great Revision will likely come any time now. Thanks a lot Xenia -_-. There are multiple theories on how to stop it. the most prominent being "Oh Zaros will save the day". But despite being a Zarosian myself, I see more than a few flaws in his plan. Put yourself in the elder gods' shoes for a moment. A random stranger you never met before comes up to you and says he's the son of your retard sister. And then he says "Hey I like this universe so please don't eat it, sure you'll die but that's cool right?". What would you do?
Option A- Do what he says
Option B- JAS SMASH

But there are a few more logical way of surviving The Great Revision. Emphasis on surviving. Even the greatest lore hound knows when she's at a writers block, and until more evidence comes up she can only guess and make a fool out of herself. So to all of you who say "That's one dead four to go", Mah was a vegetable, if an attack that basic would work against all the elder gods then the Dragonkin would be free by now. IDEA SCRAPPED.
Speaking of lovable voice killing Dragonkin (#Rainyscape) they survived the last Revision. Well, kind of. They hid in the abyss, so what's to stop us from doing the same? Of course then it'd really be a pk'er hotspot.
Guthix's idea also would've worked. keep the flow of anima steady so the elder gods would stay in their billion year nap. So all of you who are all, "Bring on the 2nd god wars!" , if that does happen, then the plan Guthix had is straight out the window.

I hope you enjoyed this episode of Lore Theories, if you have any lore related questions or suggestions on what I should do next you can PM me. No spam though or you will be ignore listed. Next episode will be next Thursday December 15th.

I think there maybe be better ways to generate Anima. If intelligent life can generate more anima than plant, then we have a place to start. I like to call it complex anima, or Animex. High nutrient anima?

That got me wondering about Golems, Automatons, Summons and such; well what if there was a way to use those with a twist to generate more Animex. All those worthless worlds out there could suddenly become farms. Bye Bye elder gods, have fun with your new farms! No more Great Revisions. A bit of a stretch I know, but not something that can be immediately rules out either.

One problem I'd like to point out with thinking that's a good thing: How are the Elder Gods going to get that anima without killing us? They sucked Freneskae dry and they plan to do the same to Gielinor. If they instead decide to allow us to live in exchange for essentially turning us into the Matrix's human batteries I don't see how that's better.

The second paragraph refers to artificially created means to attempt to generate more. Well as artificial as Frankensteined life gets.

A lot of people came with the theory that Mah tried to suppress mortal life, but I think that was more Wen's forte. Mah represented potential, so I doubt that she would suppress that. If anything, she would probably have been curious and studied into mortals, and was childlike before she got corrupted.

In CoM, we discovered an ice-like corruption like Wen's eggshells. This caused Mah to end up starved of anima and left with nothing except instinct. I believe that she tried to use Zaros and Seren, along with the Children of Mah, to regenerate enough anima to catch up with her sisters. Zaros felt toyed with and abused so he left Mah, and Seren was practically coerced into helping nurse her back to health, using the Mahjarrat to return their energy to her.

So we have Wen using her eggshells to mess Mah up for some reason, which is likely suppressing mortal life or saving the rest of her sisters, and Jas hardboiling the Sixth's egg and sealing it with her own shells. Then Jas got confronted by the Dragonkin after the last revision, and used them as guards to stop whatever state the Sixth is now from coming out. It may be possible that Sliske is trying to peel off Jas' eggshells from the Catalyst and get the Sixth to hatch out, maybe even possessing the winner of the Endgame. This is partly why I'm hesitant to side with anyone I like when that time comes.

Right, right, right. That's why in a Revision without Mah's influence, Wen was able to suppress more sentient mortal life. That's also why in the Revision Mah was functioning, there was far more life.

Except, the opposite is true. When Mah was around to influence creation, only one sentient mortal species came to be: the Dragonkin. Without Mah, this revision has produced far more sentient mortal species (ex: Demons, Aviansie, Humans, Icyene, etc...) than the last.

From what I understand, Mah's representation of potential is meant to be that she suppresses it because she recognizes it. Essentially, she was meant to stop the formation of mortals as soon as possible, as we would be a waste of anima. So maybe Wen actually wanted mortal life to flourish for some reason?

Maybe Mah recognised that Guardians would pop naturaly from the worlds they created if Mortal life was not supressed?

As Mah would have been working to stop life from forming, even if it is mortal, maybe Wen saw the decline and wanted to halt her own by doubling down on her next rejuvenation and thought suppression was a waste of energy? Survival of the sneakiest?

Except that is true, the Dragonkin were one of two species to survive the revision(we don't know who the other is yet, we've just been told they exist), how many didn't? You're using survivors bias.

1. Unless you are counting the Elder Gods as a species, I'm curious exactly what other species survived the revision (since the Jmods have already stated that they intend the Dragonkin to be the sole survivors of the last revision.

2. Equally, it was Mod Rowley, not the players, who first stated that Mah was responsible for suppressing sentient mortal life, and that the Dragonkin likely arose on one of the last planes before Freneskae's creation (in other words, even if other sentient life existed they would have only done so on those last few planes before Freneskae) last Revision which would indicate that Mah's corruption began during the creation of last Revision rather than while they slept or at the start of our Revision.
