I doubt the Queen of Ashes is Elidinis, since she wouldn't have difficulty locating Gielinor, and Jagex seem reluctant to use Elidinis until the Desert series is finished, which is why she hasn't returned yet.

Also, I get the feeling that Temekel wasn't truly alive when Bilrach encountered him in his letter, judging by how oddly he acted. It was probably the Kharid-Ib speaking through him. We know from Diamond in the Rough that it's sentient and capable of that.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

The Mahjarrat have no souls, and therefore no afterlife, so I find it hard for Temekel to have been revived. Maybe the Kharid-ib has some loophole around the nature of the Mahjarrat, like it gave Temekel a soul?

The Kharid-Ib wouldn't have needed Temekel's soul, just the empty husk that was formerly his body.

Honestly at this point I'm inclined to ignore the Burning Nihil. I don't think we should put much weight in MTX lore, and it doesn't really make any sense.

Not only does it look nothing like a Nihil, there shouldn't even BE any male Nihil, and its sentience makes no sense. So either this is something pretending to be a Nihil, or lorefails.
