The way the Karamjan gods ascended sounds similar to the way Icthlarin and Amascut ascended. They were once normal mortal creatures who were gifted with divinity. Do you think the Karamjan Gods are just lowly T6 demigods? It would explain why they don't have a huge dominance over Gielinor and aren't well known, like V. Gara-Dul seems to be T5 at the very least.

UPDATE: Just got further confirmation that the trio ARE demigods. (see both links below)

T6 seems to be mortals who were given their divine power by gods.

T7 is divine entities created purely from divine energy and nothing else.

It makes sense, yeah.

Gara-Dul pretty much allowed itself to die and the divine energy that came from his stone corpse flowed into the three dead bodies, and I highly doubt that was an accident. If Gara-Dul was t5, like Tumeken.. and Tumeken and Elidinis merely put tiny pieces of themselves into both Icthlarin and Amascut.. yet Gara-Dul put ALL his divine energy into them..
It makes for a curious tale indeed. Perhaps the three find themselves on almost a t5.5 level. Not quite just demi-gods, but not quite full fledged gods either?

Not entirely true when it comes to Seren and Zaros.

I found it to be quite obvious so I made the initial assumption and thankfully had it confirmed.

Three people had to split the entirety of one Gods power, it's pretty easy to figure out from there. :P

I wonder if demi-gods have some sort of connection towards the underworld. Our desert demi-gods have certain powers over the undead; Amascut, for instance, can rebirth souls. It also seems likely that the jungle-demi gods are the ones responsible for raising the voodoo zombies.

It gets me wondering? Are regular gods even able to go into the underworld the same way demi-gods can? Do demi-gods have special powers over the dead because they're still mortal and god?

Great question. I'm convinced their divinity could be interpreted in a mystical way, in that they can affect souls. The difficulty lies in finding exact or specific references showing how Karamjan demi-gods are involved with the underworld. In short, they could, but would they?

Once a god becomes too powerful, I believe itís just a question of the underworld unable to handle such a tremendous source of power, in that the being in question has become too big, making its energy signature unrefined, or merely incompatible to affect souls overall.

Anyway, wasn't the wand of ressurrection the only way for a divine being- excluding demi-gods like Amascut or mortals (i.e. Sliske, Nomad)- to interfere with the underworld's souls?

As the link with the underworld and an ascended god is cut, a divine being would only be able to affect things on the physical world, and not be able to display physical powers over the underworld- or affect its souls- without tools.

Itís like a dog that canít see microbes or fleas on or around it. Sure, it can try to scratch the surface, but it hasnít got anything refined enough to directly interact with small complex things which are invisible and miniscule: it needs some tool or technique to do so.

Similarly, gods need an interface to affect souls (wand of ressurection), much like how elder gods are too big and powerful to shape things smaller than themselves- they need elder artefacts to refine their power to shape things.

Races without afterlives have been shown to be capable of raising the dead. Including the actual god Zamorak.

There is seemingly nothing stopping a god or other divine being from being in the underworld, since we've seen Gielinor and Sliske there.
