Have you tried lowering the monitor's refresh rate to 60Hz? This is just to see if perhaps NXT may be having issues with the 75Hz refresh rate. .

Yeah, I would think so. If you don't notice it on anything else and it's just NXT that's giving problems, it's definitely a fault with NXT. The client does have its problems.

If the GPU or monitor were the problem, you would see problems on more than just RS. Hell, you even tried 4 monitors and they all showed the same problem. It's just NXT being NXT and deciding not to work as intended imo.

lol ya it still does it in the same spots as everything else ive tried at 60 hz. lol i guess ill just blame NXT lol and have to live with it. it just sucks because i dont recall this ever happening before and with my set up i shouldnt have any graphical issues like that lol. ya it doesnt effect fps or lag or anything like that but now that ive seen it i can not see it everytime lol

You could try using something like Display Driver Uninstaller - run it in Safe Mode as instructed by the program. This will wipe your GPU drivers from the system. After that, reinstall the driver for the GPU and see if the issue disappears. Maybe it's an issue with the drivers that's just affecting NXT. Driver problems can affect visuals.

If it still does that, you can take it a step further and try installing a much older driver to see if that works. Sometimes new drivers can cause problems with select applications.

I would also try a HDMI cable just to see. Who knows, maybe NXT doesn't like the Displayport connection (not heard of this, but NXT can surprise and cause strange errors for a select few).

It may be worth running a GPU stress test that runs on OpenGL. NXT runs on that mode. Other games you play likely don't run on OpenGL so that could be why the issue doesn't pop up elsewhere.

Here's a decent stress test: https://benchmark.unigine.com/heaven

Just set the API to "OpenGL" and run various tests at different settings. See if you notice any of the same problems.

Ok so i have officially figured it out. So there is an issue between the the volumetric lighting code in the rs client and the Nvidia Drivers as far back as the 440.97 update on Oct 22, 2019.

When your using any Nvidia driver from 440.97 to the current 441.87 you have to have the volumetric light set to off to fix this problem. Once you turn it to low-ultra is causes the issues shown in the photo in the previous reply. However when i roll my Nvidia drivers back to 436.48 from sept 10, 2019 the issue no longer occurs no matter what setting i have the volumetric lighting set to.

Now who can i forward this to so it can be looked into further? And i did send a tweet taggin @jagexsupport in hopes someone see it
