I believe the lack of communication with the player base these days is thoroughly due to the Grand Exchange.

During the Golden Age of Runescape 2, Buying and Selling was in and of itself owned and managed by the players. If you needed or wanted armor/materials/whatever, you had to communicate with others, debate a price, and trade. Player interaction was lively and players could not play without interacting with others. It was the heart of what fueled human interaction and I thoroughly believe the Grand Exchange must be taken down and replaced with a cosmetic center as where the Grand Exchanges pillars stand, banks placed, and human interacting will come back.

People will start talking again and the game will not feel like an uninteracting/lonely adventure, anymore.

That's actually false. Long before the grand exchange was ever thought of, many of us did everything without the need to interact with others (we interacted with others because we enjoyed talking to them). Some of the reasoning for doing everything on our own was that players often tried to scam in a trade.. big bones were swiftly placed in the trade window to replace dragon bones for example.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely hate the grand exchange but don't claim it's what kills player interaction because it isn't. Players are what kills player interaction.

The vast majority of interaction has never been about trade. Claiming that something that cut out the choke hold control over the game held by the merchant kings was bad for the game is a total lie. The only thing the ge removed was merchant kings and that is what you want to bring back. Stop being a entitled snowflake. If you want something in game, earn it rather than demand it be given to you.

This. The vast majority of interaction was never about anything but end-game PvM such as Raids. We don't need merchant kings holding control of the game. We don't need skillers controlling the game. We don't need anyone controlling the game but us PvMers as we're clearly the most important. The problem with the trading system before the GE was that skillers made too much money and some of us just don't like seeing others make any money at all.
Botting profits are now under control thanks to revs and Raids. :)
