From disc thread lmao

If anything, this shows just how little volume there are of the disks left. It has almost hit max. I wonder how far will it go. Items don't jump like this in price when there is sufficient volume. Exciting news for the disk, for sure. How will it behave if it goes over max cash? This is normally when items jump up in price exponentially.

I have a feeling that every single player is buying rares since like one week ago, lol.
2 guys bought disk for 1.25B and 1.3B week ago but now it's 2B on G.E.?!
Wow.

I cannot tell if it's a buy-up or a rekindled interest. Definitely close to a 100% increase for some of these items, since April. From what I researched, because I was inactive then, but 2017 was definitely a buy-up, and items like pumpkins breached well over 1b. What is happening now is a hard one to gauge. I see at least three factors: 1. More players and returning players due to people being stuck at home because of the pandemic. 2. Major merchants are active and wickng up supply. 3 Archeology has made some unlikely players billionaires, and they are investing their gp. I do see some bigger players on right now, who appear to have been inactive for a while, and a certain person who had a 500 pumpkin bank at one point lol.

Most likely merchanting clans.

Probably. I wonder where the high will be and where it will correct to. Any thoughts?

In real life, if an asset going up 100% in two months, it would be highly alarming and bound to correct. RS, of course, is a totally different landscape and items get bought out all the time. It's difficult to gauge how long they will run, and where the top is, especially in a market like this, where, overall, there is, generally, a fairly consistent upward momentum on these items, historically speaking.

Interesting times. It's like a repeat of 2017, but with some very different variables at play.

The only discontinued market yet to be hit is the partyhat market. But you need a lot more capital to manipulate that market.

It's really hard to say. I actually think the hype is slowly passing, need few more days.

I think the hype is slowing down now, and prices definitely appear to be stabilizing. No huge leaps in price in the last 24 hours and actually a bit of decline.

I think a lot of smaller merchants are going to run with the quick profit, and dump. But there could be some bigger players that will continue to wick up supply. It's hard to gauge if the run is over, or if this is just a brief pause.

well I have more crackers than wines and only a few disks. Probably wine, disk, cracker.

I think cracker is so much cause you get phats from them.. you can get a blue, and are worth at least a yellow min. So they can never be less than the least pricey phat, right? But they also dupped them a lot in 2003 lol. Not as rare as you guys think.

So yeah disks are pretty rare, you're right. They weren't dupped, that's for sure. Neither were wines.
I'm known as Rich King Midas, and when you look at me, you'll see a king who knows a thing about his treasury. I never cared for women. I've never cared for wine. But when I count a large amount of money - ha ha - it's divine!
