"You may now toggle whether Buckets are destroyed or not when making Molten Glass."

Can't find it in interface or furnace interface. Patch notes weren't helpful enough to state where this setting is. Need help.

i have mine toggled to keep buckets but they get destroyed anyway. dont know if its a bug or not, i found the toggle somewhere in the settings. its been awhile. you can use sacks ofsand for the same purpose.

setting > gameplay > inventory > option is on bottom of right side

I have no problem destroying and keeping buckets at will as intended, not sure about the destroy BUCKET option works on SACK of sand though.

Yep it works the same way, but if you going to refill them then its better to save anyway. Sacks are better for irons because you can buy packs of 50 but buckets are only singles so only 28 max. Item being untradeable makes no difference to irons.

The above poster was most likely using lunar glass spell and sacks or buckets will always get destroyed regardless of the new setting. If I remember correctly long time ago the buckets use to be saved when using lunar and when you got extra glass the empty bucket would fall to the floor.....Its not a bug but got changed many years ago for whatever reason.

Buckets, especially "Buckets" with a capital "B" in the middle of a sentence doesn't sound like SACKS to me. Shurg! Either way I don't think sacks should be destroyed when Buckers are obviously what the update is intended for.

The most important point is I believe OP's question has been answered. :)

Yes but you said ''not sure about the destroy BUCKET option works on SACK of sand though.'' and I answered with yes, I was NOT answering the OP question I was answering YOURS and explaining to the 2nd poster why they will get destroyed if he uses lunar. The 2nd poster already answered the OP question so there was no point in you even posting.

'' I don't think sacks should be destroyed'' If you don't want sacks to be destroyed then don't tick the box next to buckets .... Simple really. If you want buckets to be destroyed but not sacks in the same inventory then that's just you being stupid because they both do the same job.

@Mini JIT

I just intended to answer, and help the others to answer, OP's questions on destroying BUCKETS. I am glad we have answered his question precisely.

I don't see anywhere OP asked for help on sacks, so I don't even bother with sacks. If you think sacks need to be changed, perhaps you can make a thread about sacks in either Existing Game Content or Game Content Suggestion forum.

AFAIK, there is no update on sacks recently.

I didn't mean to cause controversy. I only mentioned sacks because its what I've been using since my buckets get destroyed. I don't use lunar when making glass, its either the desert amulet or edgeville furnace. I left the box unchecked assuming it meant i wanted my buckets destroyed. Ill check mark the box later and see if that make a difference. Sorry for any confusion I might have caused.

Checked again and I still lost bucket. Checked the box to destroy bucket lost bucket and finally unchecked box to see if it made a difference. this time I kept my bucket. Again sorry any confusion.
