Alt1 should be banned! Y/N?

Knightfire, thanks for your comment. It may not auto-click, but it does "think / solve" for you. Wiki and Youtube can't do that, not with randomised content. It's important to emphasise random/dynamic content is there to be solved by a human, the outcome is not pre-determined (it changes each time).

Wiki can show you techniques / how to solve it, but ultimately you have to think and use what you've learnt to solve it. Alt1 simply does all the thinking for you, you just click on the indicators it puts above your Runescape client.

To play the game you must "think" and "click", Alt1 doesnt auto-click but it does auto-think for you. So can we at least agree its 50% cheating? at least the puzzle solving feature is.



Also, fancy being added to the 'downvote' list? (of people who don't want Alt1 banned)
PS: whats wrong with puzzle skipping tickets (1.5m) if you don't want to solve it yourself?

SLR does not care about runelite, when bought up before he has said to make a thread with regards to that if we want to......... Alt1 is the only problem he/she/they wish to discuss.... :/ Remember Caz. Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Tenebri, yeah maybe not 'cracking down' but at least they are being affirmative with their action. And if cheaters quit because they are not allowed to cheat, I'm personally not bothered in the slightest.

Indy cision, they do throw in a few above board features, how could they not, they would be glaringly obviously cheats if they didn't.

Correction - this is just a graphical thing for OSRS and may not affect our alt1 situation on rs3.

thats a shame its how to have an honest and clear discussion on the "issues". its not helpful ignoring something so important.

i wonder why... because runelite is discussed by jagex recently and its clear jagex allow it. if op acknowledges that, this thread pretty much goes down the toilet... if they dont wish to discuss things that are not just closely related but down right identical / "worse" (i assume op thinkg runelite is worse than alt1). its hard to take it seriously

@C a z - It'd make sense to talk about Alt1 on an Alt1 thread. What more is there to say about Runelite besides "it's worse than Alt1" ? to make Alt1 look benign by comparison. Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm just trying to keep this thread on track. Let's tackle one thing at a time.

PS: If you write more than 3 lines on whatever it is you want to say about Runelite, that'd help. So far your comments have been quite short which doesn't give me much to work with.

Hard to say really, probably! if they were to outright ban the software (which I don't condone, personally). Its only the clue solver that is the issue really (that I know of).

The new skilling boss update coming out on 27th will have a reward that acts like Grace of the Elves, giving up to 3x clue scrolls at a time (I think that is what I heard on the Twitch stream). Alt1 will be rubbing its hands together.

100% they would riot. both communities love a good fally riot

the hd riot was about how the game looked...

imagine the outrage of people rioting over something that actually effects game play

so many people have thousands of clues completed using it, removing it would be a huge disadvantage to everyone else. and thats the majority of the rs community in the unfair advantage. so yes people would not be happy. that a % of the playerbase were allowed to use alt1 for clues for years, now they wouldnt be able to.
people would quit. not just riot


SLR maybe you should make a poll on reddit rs3. a far larger community is on reddit, and youll be able to see how people really feel about it. instead of just a few here.
