So today I realized that there could be a totally new way of giving players time to enjoy their membership status. I've noticed that the DXP timer has changed in the past years with the ability to pause and only use your DXP whilst you are available. This is for people that work lots and simply do not have the time to game.. sounds awesome! What could be more awesome than that?..
.. the ability to only use membership while we are online of course!
My suggestion for a game content suggestion is just that..
The majority of Runescape's player base is aware that F2P gaming is very limited and, for players playing with Bond's at least, it is beyond difficult to make money for sustainable membership. The game as a whole is more based on veteran players still playing, some of which for 15+ years. Why are we as supporting players forced to watch our membership burn away while we aren't even playing the game? If membership timers only counted as you were logged in, we could get much more use out of our game time and actually achieve more in regards to game progress. I believe that offering membership packages with log-in only timers is something that is well overdue in the world of Gielinor.
Now.. as for a thriving, living business that needs money to stay afloat.. I believe offering a higher priced package maybe from $15-20 with this feature included could perhaps help combat that. Most players would be willing to spend extra to have a buffed version of membership that is much more reliable.

, it would make the purpose of membership much more meaningful to players that have situations like work, kids, long hours away from home, etc. Simply put, the way membership is now is great but not all of us are able to use our membership status the way we would like to.
