Last week I made a wrong decision during the heat of the moment requesting the support team to follow up with deleting my account , I made back and forth emails causing confusion most likely on whether I wanted to proceed or not and I was informed they would follow up within 30 days ; I would like to kindly request jagex to not proceed with that decision as it was a mistake on my half during the heat of the moment ; can I kindly get some form of confirmation that this will not occur please ( the account is not deleted for reference )

I am not sure how you would go about contacting Jagex about this matter.

Ususally if its done .. well then its too late to back out.

Did you try to contact jagex in the same way as you did when you asked for deletion?

The 30 days is so that you have time to change your mind.

If you have decided not to go ahead, re-read the emails you were sent - very carefully.
You might have been given a return email address to use or you may have to use the original contact point.
Either way there will be a way to stop the process.

Yes I did to your question , I reached out to them in the first place through customer support on their website they had a process about deleting personal data and replying to a email for confirmation where they would keep me updated within 30 days

Yes malua, what痴 unfortunate is I had responded to them on the same day they sent a email and earlier today ( 4 days after )I知 worried I might have stirred up my thoughts towards them ; I replied to the same email twice 4 days in between ; I知 a bit worried they might get the wrong idea

well if you changed your mind.. maybe contact them thru that email again.

But as i said i thought once an account was gonna be deleted and you did all the correct
steps it was irreversable.

Yea I did today , feeling a bit stupid over what I initially sent 😅 honestly , I知 just curious as to what they will confirm with me within the next 30 days if they proceed or not

The issue I知 facing is they clearly mentioned to not reply if I did not want them to proceed with the process , and since I wrote a email confirming at first I followed up replying again several days later that I would not like them to proceed with it and it was a mistake on my half

Please post the display name of the affected account in this thread.
Is it your posting account?

Then wait and see if you get any emails over the next few days.
Jagex is advising currently that messages are experiencing delayed response times.

If a week goes by and you haven't heard anything, post back here and we will flag the issue for you.
