Achieving the Questcape is a great achievement, demonstrating that the player is well rounded in skill stats, understanding Runescape lore, combat and problem/puzzle solving.

The following player has achieved this and have been successful upon their application to be apart of the Questing Community's coveted Hall of Fame.

Congratulations, and welcome!

Whats everyone think of the month of June?

Personally, I'm a little uninterested in most of the content Jagex has been releasing as of late; and June is probably the worst of the batch for me.

I don't understand what happened to unfinished business - nothing seems remotely related in my eyes. I'm not suggesting the content itself isn't good quality, it just doesn't come across as 'runescapey' to me.

Hopefully the rest of the year will be better, I'm still hopeful!

Has anyone done the storymode for the elite dungeon yet? I'm just trying to determine its difficulty and if its worth doing. I've heard a lot of people complaining the combat isn't scaled down that much.

P.S. Hope I'm not just talking to myself this time haha!

Hi Trevopada

Mod Lee streamed the Elite Dungeon in story mode this evening. The stream should be available to watch again on the videos page of Runescape's Twitch channel.

So I tried Story Mode with 2 other similarly levelled people. And it's alright except for the last boss fight. I managed to Solo the 2nd boss with my crappy Wyvern Crossbow and Sup Death Lotus, but unfortunately Jagex have decided against making the hp 1/3 of what it normally is and instead making it half.

Seiryu has a mechanic where one person stays on the ground killing retextured Cave Slimes while the other 2 have to jump onto the chains and destroy the chains holding Seiryu. Unfortunately these chains have 100khp and there is a time limit and I could only get it down to 10khp before being booted off, whereby Seiryu heals back to full health. Despite the addition of story mode being added so people could learn the lore, the lorebooks can only be unlocked as drops in Normal mode. The ramp in difficulty between Seiryu and the 2nd boss is absurd, and the fact you get no rewards for Story mode other than about 25k tokens when the final boss has 9 times the hp of Sliske is ridiculous.

Duo mode is apparently bugged and doesn't keep track of checkpoints, in Mod Lee's livestream of solo storymode he failed to take off more than 200khp, I have no idea what they were thinking.

From what Magejake said, maybe I'll watch that stream first and see how it goes. Thanks for the FYI.

What do you guys think of the update? It's quite a mixed bag out there opinion wise.

Me and my friend had another go at Seiryu and tried to duo him, this time we were successful however I don't see how this is possible solo on normal mode. After all this it does piss me off that the only reward for defeating Seiryu in story mode is 5k tokens, when I've spent about 2.5m getting my items back from death. You don't even get an achievement, speaking of which there's one for making Seiryu sneeze, so bring some feathers. W42 - Asgarnian Admin, 6 year Loyal Kinshra and Pie Connoisseur.
