So hesr me out, a placeholder of sorts, for each portable skill station. They can be there but not active unless someone 'adds' time to them. It would be different than just setting one anywhere though. Adding to these stations would give you double or 1.5x the time (whatever number was fair) as just placing it normally. Additionally, if there is no room to add these spots in then I suggest a portal leading to a small room with a bank and these stations "max guild training area" or something.
Maybe an option for divine locations too, where you can pay to spawn the divine locations you want that everyone can use :)

I support the idea of D&D portal(s). An extra skilling portal would help too.

I also support the previously mentioned suggestion of adding an invention workbench, none are quickly accessible from a teleport and adding one to the max guild would definitely be a benefit of maxing. (An archeologist's workbench could also be added but I feel this is less important as there are many accessible by quick teleports.)


My suggestion:

The addition of two/three NPC's in an expanded outside area of Max Guild (where the new portals and invention workbench can go) standing beside each other, half facing the player and one another as if in idle conversation. The first of the NPC's would be 'Max', now wearing a Master Quest cape (which shows he's unlocked Prifddinas). Guild version of 'Max' would sell an additional max cape and now also a Master Quest Cape. (If a player's first max cape can only be bought from Varrock 'Max', then he wouldn't be made redundant there.)

The second NPC would be ‘Trim Tam’ (a play on an Australian dessert biscuit called “Tim Tam”) wearing a Trimmed Comp’ Cape. From her you could purchase a second comp’ cape and first/second trimmed comp’ cape (depends on whether you want players eligible for trim’ to run up to Varrock museum again). She could wear Solomon’s cosmetic overrides such as the ‘Amare Outfit’ with appropriately matching colours for trim’ cape.
These NPC’s would, of course, be dissembling items as they stand there (near the new invention table). No xp waste.

An added but unnecessary idea is a possible third NPC amongst them with an Insane (golden) “Final Boss” title who would have a boss pet follower summoned that cycles through the boss pets in a similar fashion to the skilling pet that follows Varrock Max. In such case, this NPC would be named ‘Ross’ (Final Boss Ross) and he would be dressed in bossing gear, such as Torva or Sirenic. He needs no action, just chillin’ between killin’s.

Perhaps portal to help with the 120 skills, suggestions for each are as follows:

Slayer portal to take you to your choice of locations based on your current task (So all viable areas to kill that task, including bosses which fall under your tasks category) with an option to show or hide wilderness locations to avoid absent mindedly teleporting to the wild in full slayer gear accidentally.

Farming portal to go to Anarchonia farm / Trollheim patch if you have the teleport unlocked.
An elder tree patch and / or extra breeding pen.

A permanently active bankside Herblore well which offers reduced benefits but can be "extended" with portable wells to offer the full usual benefits + a little extra.

A dungeoneering portal with teleports to all EDs, resource dungeons + daemonheim.

An Archaeology restoration bench + material storage with an enhanced soil sifter for more soil / hour.

An invention bench + some free mats your first time using it.

That way the max guild is definitely useful to you as a player with all 99s.
I also really liked the suggestion of portal to all the other guilds (cook/craft/fish/range/etc)

path one increases chance of treasure trail log drops being different, only dissasemble into forts, cant be sold

maybe set out like a skill tree, like on jedi fallen order, using runescore to unlock levels or advances

honestly, i’d love for two things to make the process a bit smoother. I’d like that when you can enter the max guild, you can leave the gates open. I know that runs a bit of issue of server-side vs client-side but attuning to the inside of the guild means there’s a considerable delay trying to get to the portals, and attuning out means that there is delay getting to the bank.

Secondly, i’d love an adrenaline crystal and/or an invention workbench.
Maxed and still in love with the game.

I will never have enough room in poh to mount all my heads, but I like severing them, mounting them, looking at them and talking to them. With regard to skilling, heads are useful for tuning bane ore.
So how about spots to mount abyssal demon, basilisk and one of the dragon heads?
How about a new wallasalki head?
Hell, the choices of tunable bane are eccentric, so how about mounts for all the heads, tuned bane for all the heads and a miniquest to explain why the Kethsi Mages chose the beasts they did?
I'm a happy little vivisectionist, but am not without my frustrations.

Newly Maxed player here! Getting into the Max Guild was super exciting, but very underwhelming. The first couple of thoughts I had were "This is Small", and "War's Retreat has all of this." I agree with Samaster's idea. It's the freaking MAX GUILD. It should be a one stop shop for all skills, and combat. Making it the Hub to other Guilds would be perfect. However, I think you will need to give the Guilds themselves some TLC to make this work properly. Each skill should have a Guild that you WANT to go train at. Unique rewards, training methods etc. Giving a buff when going from a portal at the Max Guild to that Guild would be neat. To add more usefulness to the Max Guild, it should be tailored to training/assisting the 120 skills.

TLDR; Make the Max Guild the Hub to all other guilds. Update existing guilds so you WANT to train at them, and add any missing guilds. The Max Guild should help with training post 99 skills to make it even more useful.

Maybe each Guild can have areas for Maxed players only. That would give end game players an incentive to use the content. It would also motivate others to max for whatever benefits/resources the exclusive area would provide.
