Another mod has just announced that they're leaving... Such a big coincidence that so many J mods are leaving atm. Anyone know why so many all leave over such a short time period? Only rancid, vile creatures call others rancid, vile creatures!

It's unlikely we'll ever know the real reasons. They'll be gagging clauses while they're employed, and once they leave there are likely various clauses that they cannot say too much. Even if they don't exist, IF they are leaving for sinister reasons, it's never a good idea to burn bridges or slant your last company, particularly in this day-and-age. Also, you can only take what an ex-employee says with a certain pinch of salt... After all, they are ex-employees for a reason.

Certain sections of the player base will jump on the MTX-bandwagon and try to make out these mods to be some type of martyrs who are leaving in protest of how the game is being managed. Eh, me, I don't know. There's obviously a lot of noise around the company at the moment; what's not to say a forward-thinking company isn't poaching all their top talent while they can, before developing their own game? Maybe they'll all re-appear together in a few months with their own RPG!

But, who knows. Unless one of them comes right out and says something, I doubt we ever will know.

They underpay all the good Jmods so they leave. You would think with all the money they have they would get a decent salary.
Seems crazy that all these 5+ year J mods are leaving within such a small period of time though. If it were as you say just because Jagex underpays, why would we see such a big spike in J mods leaving atm? Seems like that's one reason, but a bigger reason is there too.

I agree - they're not going to speak poorly of Jagex as that's career suicide.

And the J mods clearly have had no issue with MTX in the past and always pushed it on us. I doubt they'd suddenly care about MTX. Seems as though there's another reason...

This is actually very possible.
Chinese guys are selling this game so they don't care about future of it, they just want the money, thats why game is full of bugs and thats why they just push mtx and 120 skills.

You do realise that the J mods want and push 120 skills and MTX, right?
