I'd suggest if you're looking at elder rune to sell check out what the +5 items are selling for. The +4 are artificially inflated as they are rarely ever traded on the GE I'd Imagine that the +4 goes for slightly more than the +5 only due to the fact it can be smithed to +5 so they can get xp out of it. So I wouldn't expect to get 6mil per sword. But you can try it and see what happens.
As to what makes money. Slayer has always been my default for making money or of course digging my mitts in elves pockets.~Tranq~
Reaping another soul from the ambient mortality
Can't go wrong with doing herb runs every 2 hours (pays off in the long run) Especially with regular juju farm potions.
I've always been a fan of running nature runes.
Helps a ton if you get 93 summoning for the abyssal titan , ethereal outfit + massive pouches from runespan. You will also need the edgeville sword and the tzhaar ring from the elder kin quest for quick banking.
Once you have all of these items it's prime time gp , just try to be careful with pkers because the tzhaar ring takes a bit of tokkul to recover if you lose it.
It's about 250+ nature runes with 91 rc.
Many ways to make gp , when things came to worse, I would high alch any rune item for gp.
Questing itself doesn't make money, but it opens up the game. After long chains you are often rewarded with great ways to make money. I kill Vyrewatch completely afk for 3.5-4m per hour. Also with this you get your regular Combat xp, and free Prayer / Firemaking xp.
I would invest time in slayer, clue scrolls, and bossing if you are trying to earn more gold. I found the mining rework to be an insane way to earn easy gold. Much easier to AFK and earn great xp compared to the ancient mining times. I also recommend getting 60 divination so you can gather those tier 60 divination energy at South Feldip Hill.Boeing 777X
