Just realized something that I'd like to add to my previous statements.

-A clean-up option for placeholders would be very useful. Right now, let's say I have a "miscellaneous" tab with 500 different items in it. A lot of them being quest items and so on. Perhaps it's an item that I thought would return to that spot, but ends up being used up during the quest. Or an item that is taken from my bank through some occurrence or another (for instance handing in a daily challenge.) Taking the time to scroll through an entire tab worth of hundreds of items only to see if one of them are a placeholder that is no longer relevant, is frustrating. Not to mention you might have several such things locking in a bank space. So why not give us a clean-up option that shows us all the zero-numbered placeholders?

Sorry for taking up your time!

I do like the idea of placeholders. They are ideal for the armour i use a lot. I've reorganised my bank since the bank rework because now it will stay the way i organised it.

The only issue I have with the placeholder system is that some items in my bank i do not want to save. For instance, when im smithing, i use my smithing armour for the xp bonus. I make platebodies from base to +4. In my bank i now have a placeholder for each stage of platebody. Ofcourse i could turn off the placeholder system but chances are i will forget to put it back on for the next armour swith.

I would like to have the option to select the individual items which place should be hold when withdrawn. In that way i dont have all to remove all my drops and platebodies as placeholders, but my armour will remain how i organised it.

Biggest miss from banking update imo is that the banking interface (not actual banking) is not available whilst grinding other skills. Fishing with rod-o-matic using porters, could have sat around and re-organised my bank. Never sorted my bank, it has a search box, and food is stored in one tab with latest armours. Diango stores all collecting skill clothing sets. Placeholders sort of make sense, unless you lose/sell/use the food type, armour or weapon, then you have a placeholder but nothing to put in it. Something that is really only used 60 seconds in the hour and was announced 3 years ago, really could not have been that important to either players or Jagex. Simple question for all, and Jagex,
would you use as a game selling headline to non players, "Play the new RS Bank Update now"?

Interesting idea.

It would also allow us to check whether we have items that people in clan chats, for example, are requesting without having to leave what we are doing to go to a bank.

I think this should be part of a proper bank rework.

the bank rework is excellent great job, would love to buy some more space i'm a hoarder
There are so many irreplaceable items that you can't store anywhere other than your bank. It gets more annoying when you can't show off a lot of stuff because they are not tradable and are not equippable.
