So, I absolutely love Anachronia and it’s content but I think it has a lot of room for improvement. Here’s just a few quick things to run past y’all:

1.
Poison hitsplats display the damage they do in the chatbox. Just in case you forget, the animation cancels out and for colorblind.

2.
Add another Seren Spell that has the effect of making Big Game Hunter creatures take an extra 1.2 seconds to catch you

3.
Similar to the canoe on the River Lum, have a canoe system across the island to various destinations. Unlocked via T3 Base Camp. Only like two or three locations as not to render the agility course completely useless.

4.
One of the single most annoying things about BGH is if I try to bladed five through a dinosaur and accidentally click on it. I get a message saying I can’t attack this NPC. It’s very annoying as you have to either use the minimap exclusively or spin your camera around then find an open patch to click. This is also true of the poison frogs. Allow us to click through them, this has been the number one reason for me failing an instance.
5. Extend the duration of the Prism of Salvation spell drastically. With the introduction of BGH this spell now actually has a use for speeding up kills/hr or when the instance spawns two or more Dinos.

6.
In general the drop tables of the slayer creatures here need to be buffed.

7.
As another unlock to the Hunter Mark Shop, give us the ability to combine a rope and net into a permanent lizard trap. This would save som much inventory space, reduce the clutter and be less annoying.

- Add a BGH timer similar to bosses.

- Teleports tokens for the Abyss totem. Allow Abyss teleports to take you to any of the three totem nodes.

8. Another Hunter Mark Shop unlock would be that instead of clicking to collect the lizard from the snare then clicking to pick up the rope/net, and then clicking to reset the trap you can instead click once to collect and reset.

9. Make it so that when harvesting the different resources across Anachronia, each successful attempt yield X amount of resources for the base camp rather than it just hoping you get lucky and get compact resources. People, I think, enjoy feeling in control and that their efforts are being rewarded. I was also disappointed that we ourselves don’t construct it for construction.

10. Make the new ranged armor have a crafting level req that actually reflects its stats. This is the M&S Rework all over again.

11. Add another eagle transportation location on the mountain. Gives the eagle transport system use and gives us more mobility.

12. The Herby Werby Minigame is just god awful xp.

13. I’m not sure what improvement I’d suggest but after people have maxed out their base camps and got the totem pieces, these resource locations will become mostly dead content. Any ideas?

* Bait for BGH
• Teleport tokens to various hotspots around the island
• Dinosaur/Vile Bloom drop enhancers
• Agility course xp enhancer (similar to hefin agility enhancer)
• Codex page enhancer (obtain slightly more codex pages from agility course)
• Grass enhancer tokens - more tall grass spawns in BGH

15. Tier 3 base camp reduces upkeep on totems to once a month.

16. The tier 1 bait box should hold up to 6 not 5 bait because unless your stupid lucky and guess the correct poison the first time, you’ll need to bait it a total of six times.

17. Allow us to deposit Noted bait into the bait box rather than having to make multiple trips.

18. Damaged Dinosaur Hide should either have a higher arch value or disassemble for something better than simple parts.

Support.

Possible trader like ports - if they add more content to island, trade for certain resources etc or a swap mechanic.

or buy "Artifacts" with base camp resources and bring them dig-site for exp/lore on the island so far.

NO support for any other use for the resources.

this isnt ports where u have to roll voyages (with a daily limit), which depends on RNG, then set up your ship and crew, which you had to buy, also RNG based, level up, risk failure, all of which takes time and though and luck

for base camp u do NOTHING.

Literally nothing.

you can not visit it for a week and come back to a full load of resources

there is no reason at all to give us any kind of loots from this "process"

(commas because is doing nothing at all actually a process?)

Vaseth, if you’d read my post you’d know that I’d made this suggestion:

“Make it so that when harvesting the different resources across Anachronia, each successful attempt yields X amount of resources for the base camp rather than it just hoping you get lucky and get compact resources.”

So it’d still be absolutely nothing like ports because you yourself would be harvesting the resource. Further, even if that were the case, how is it that so much different than Miscellania or whatever dailies. And let’s say the reward was negligible, would you have a problem with it then?

Hunter-mark shop unlock suggestion.

A special incense from Herblore habitat that extends juju potion durations/or makes the effects stronger.

(Would not work on potion+ cause of it's duration/buffs)

oh i read your post, and nothing in it or your reply changes anything i said

whether harvesting resources across the island provides a large amount of resources rarely or a small amount often has nothing at all to do with what i said, and the difference between those two things seems utterly inconsequential in the long run

i said that giving them a worth even slightly relative to ports goods would b inappropriate for an activity where u dont have to do anything

your asking how its different from other daily activities?

if you dont understand the difference between t85 weapons and armour and high level pocket slot items, and 40 pineapples and 80 seaweed, then you have no understanding of the game at all

misc. requires cash and lots of quests requiring skills to do efficiently, anachronia base came has requirements of... oh wait, nothing at all

so i suggest you read my post before coming to a premature presumption thank you so very much

Sounds fairly elaborate and I'd like to leave my thoughts. If I do not mention a point I do not have really a specific opinion on it.

1/2: I think if the camouflage potion were to make the circle smaller it would trivialize BGH (even a single tile in radius could have an huge impact already). I certainly like the idea, that you want to make it more useful, but I would suggest merging it with idea 2: We wouldn't get a new seren spell with an extremely specific field of use, but the camouflage potion would increase the time to be caught.

3: Certainly supporting different means of traversing the island. Especially since the townhall was nerfed to the ground it should have something else for compensation

4: I thought that was supposed to be fixed a few months ago. Not sure what happened with it actually.

6: Yeah

7: Would that be a toolbelted item? Or simply something you could permanentely attach to a tree?

10: While it isn't as broken as the old smithable armours, it's still off - support.

11: Hot air balloons also could be a nice addition, since they were made viable with the firemaking improvements a few months ago

13: I think it's fine if players could eventually finish it without having another thing they regularily need to check on. That wouldn't imply there couldn't be more buildable stuff in the future.

14: That doesn't fix the issue that this totem itself is fairly unappealing - especially considering they are collecting more ideas for potential future totems. The spell should be reworked that you could teleport to any totem location as soon as you got the totem pieces unlocked - no placement needed.
