According to the wiki the only benefits of t2 upgrade are 2 shops which sell useless armours and weapons. It also increases the amount of resources from bundles up to 200 which is good. But what are the other benefits and what are the benefits of t3 town hall? The brightest ideas are the most undervalued.

Building the other t3 buildings obviously.

Well - we had the option to buy a few free meats every day before the update, but seemingly an amount less than the one you'd gotten from a successful hunt until said dinos despawn was deemed to be too OP.

It's just an unnecessary extra layer of padding on Jagex part. To inflate the time it takes to upgrade things.

Not necessarily: The meat was actually quite a nice benefit for while it lasted (but hurr-durr OP huehuehue), the armour and weapon stores could be nice extras for invention if armour and weapon stores wouldn't be broken for over 6 months now.

Of course we don't know what t3 gives - probably also something useful at first, which gets nerfed into oblivion a few days later or would be nice to have by concept but it broken due to something else in the game.

That of course is also an option. Maybe they'll also re-add the meat when the GE price naturally went down (since they 'didn't expect it to be that valuable')

The irony people saying people love BGH, yet the prices of meat say otherwise. If so many players were enjoying this content surly it would mean the G.E is saturated in meats? But actually what's happening is High levels are catching butterflies rather then playing BGH. So little people are playing BGH that prices of meats are huge because the supply is low.

We would agree that regardless of the profitability of the loot box trade, the risks associated with them are worryingly high

Yet again not necessarily - it just means the supply is (way) lower than the demand:

The thing probably is the same as with smithing and burial armour - they probably do it, but only for the top tier stuff - since obtaining t2 (and 1) meat takes time they don't have for t3 hunting afterwards they are ready to pay those high prices - since a maul piece drop would more than compensate the input. The analogy to smithing would that players need a lot of maximum level armour, so smithing that can be cost effective (or even profitable) since those purely focused of xp don't bother making it for themselves.

Back to the dinos: I wouldn't complain, it's a lot more of profit for those hunting the lower levelled ones - not turning them yet into dead content.
