This post is not about the ridiculous methodology of big game hunter, nor is it about core game engine issues (movement paths etc), but instead its about small tweaks that could have a big impact on the activity.

CAMERA
when you kill or maim a dino, after the cutscene, you are always facing away from the center.
which means you have to either change your camera angle or click on the mini-map to get to the carcass. this should be changed so that you are facing the center. After all, who wouldn't watch their hard work killing a beast?

FROGS
1. clickable area is too small. Years ago they fixed butterflies and gargoyles clickable area.
Jagex should do the same for poison frogs.

2. When you have one color spear there is no point in having "make x" interface when arming scorpion. Its especially frustrating when you have double or triple encounters
I know you can hold down the space bar when clicking to arm, but still, that is an unnecessary step and should be eliminated.


CHAT
Many players use "always on mode: ON" to ease chatting in fc, cc and public. OFF is to facilitate usage of hotkeys, requiring "enter" to chat. In bgh, when you get a cutscene, your automatically put into a "off" condition, similar to opening your bank. There is no reason for this, since your not using any hotkeys during or immediately following a kill. It causes a lot of chat frustration; typing to a friend in cc/fc and not actually sending a message. For players who habitually use the "off" mode, this isn't an issue, since they normally hit enter prior to sending a message. This should be changed to reflect the chat options selected.

ENCOUNTER END
when dinos go into hiding after killing 5-7 of them, the encounter is effectively over. But you still have to go and right click the pad to "leave". This should be changed so that after you skin the carcass of the last possible dino, all logs, vines and spears should be removed from your inventory and the encounter instance ended.

that was my intention, though not fully expressed. If you hold down the space bar when clicking to arm the scorpion it will overcome the detection circle most of the time. But its still a dumb thing. The detection circle doesn't interrupt building the scorpion, nor should it interrupt arming it.

On the chat issue, it must be a simple coding error. When you get any interface pop up, like opening bank, a dialog box with npc, or in an activity like posing on serenity posts, your chat goes to "off"-press enter to talk, but when you close your bank, npc dialog or hop off the serenity posts, or end whatever, your chat reverts to "always on-on" the way it should work.
at bgh, it doesn't revert like everywhere else in game.

encounter automatically ending should also be a simple fix. even if your inventory is full of logs, vines and spears. simple if/then code statements can close the encounter, remove instance resources, and replace with dino loot

or they could use the same mechanic as lootcrates from watching twitch. if your inventory is full, it goes to bank. I think that might have changed though.. where you get the lootcrate after logging out and in.

either way, its a rare occasion to have a full inventory at the end of a kill
