[35.2%] Violet is Blue 2

23) Oh god please let this never happen. had a tough time with the snowballs

I can see why people disliked this quest but at the same time thought it was pretty charming. They wouldn’t have to use the same or similar mechanics in a sequel.

I’m reaching here but if Dilberts right about the working title being Violet is green it would possibly have a spring theming. No snow.

Sometimes, things get polled not so much as to see it get dev'd, but to see where it might stand with the community.
Just because a dev thinks the idea could be funny or technically useful, doesn't mean that the community as whole thinks so. For example: they could have had 3 ideas for a Land of Snow themed quest, and instead of a Violet focused sequel, she now has a small cameo in it or her part makes up a small section of the overall quest.

Sometimes, a weak concept could also be held onto to either be reworked/rewritten later ... or be rolled into another concept.

Sometimes, the idea would still come out ... just instead of it being say a Fate of the Gods type quest in terms of production, they instead opt to scale it down to the scope of a bottle quest.

It's possible they're also looking for a higher percentage, something 75+% like OSRS lol:P

They said the EXACT OPPOSITE thing in Runefest. They explicitly said they wouldn't solely follow whatever poll percentage because the OSRS Poll System is problematic.

I completely agree and understand why RS3 won't do that because it would be extremely embarrassing if they failed to honor passed polls on one hand and called everything they wanted in the game but knew they wouldn't pass INTEGRITY updates without polling them.

The OSRS polling system is not that problematic, in many ways it's one of the better options for updates. OSRS doesn't actually have that many integrity updates compared to polled updates. And RS3 devs change their minds alot. Remember over 10 years ago when they said that they weren't ever making RS3?

[65.1%] Dragon Slayer 2
3) How would they do this with dragonkin on our side?

Dragonkin aren't united. Zogroth hasn't shown up in RS3 yet.

Jeremy Cheng said:

[61.6%] Origins of Zaros
5) We already know this.

There could be more to add

Jeremy Cheng said:

[61.6%] Back to the God Wars
6) Already happening with GWD3.

GWD3 will be an elder god wars dungeon

Jeremy Cheng said:

[61.2%] White Knight Finale
7) Storyline was already completed.
[61.0%] Elf Storyline
8) Again, storyline was already completed.

Sort of... There are still some loose ends

Jeremy Cheng said:

[60.7%] Barrows-Search for Death
9) Again, storyline was already completed.

Not death the character, but the wights actually looking to die

Jeremy Cheng said:

[53.4%] Return of King Valliance
12) This was already an event.

Event was not actually his return

Jeremy Cheng said:

[51.4%] Vampyre Storyline
16) Vanescula is already in archaeology

We haven't really gotten a chance to explore Vampyrium, and this would be a cool way to add theater of blood to RS3

Jeremy Cheng said:

[51.2%] Araxxor Quest
17) I don't want quests requiring bosskills of bosses I can't kill

Quest probably won't require a boss kill, can't kill this thing either

Jeremy Cheng said:

[50.0%] Death of Wise Old Man
19) He already died in osrs

OSRS and RS3 are two different tellings of the same story, if WOM dies in OSRS, at somepoint he'll die in RS3.

"Dragonkin aren't united. Zogroth hasn't shown up in RS3 yet."

We already know from Desperate Measures the Dragonkin is not united at all. There are 4 tribes and 2 of them being Dreamerkin who prefer to sleep through times of trouble like Guthix, the Elder Gods and perhaps Tumekan too. There is no place for Zogroth in RS3. There is not even a word, let alone of a poll regarding this Zorg... who?

"GWD3 will be an elder god wars dungeon"

God wars are god wars, regardless they are wars between lesser gods, elder gods or fake gods.

"OSRS and RS3 are two different tellings of the same story, if WOM dies in OSRS, at somepoint he'll die in RS3."

Totally baseless. Guthix died in RS3 but it doesn't mean at "somepoint" he'll die in OSRS.
