I am 100% on board with this. There was absolutely no reason to hike the price up to $10/month. I understand they can't go back to the $5/month (sadly) but $7/month was pretty reasonable. All things considered, $10/month is reasonable as well if you look at other sub-based MMOs, but still. They had zero reason to increase the cost, just a bunch of excuses.
I understand that some ppl don't like it, but I don't see why they must explain everything they do?
" Heeey, Runescape, that sounds fun!, let's try......oh... there are discontinued items in this game.. Let's ignore 99,99999999999999999999999999% of the game and purely focus on discontinued items. Literally unplayable, I am not going to play this game! fuck this! Boo!! "
it does take too long, which makes the game boring. is it the community's responsibility to bring new active players to this game or should it be Jagex? I've tried to get my friends to play this game but they say its trash. and that makes me a sad pepsi
Well that's tough shit.
Jagex shouldn't have to do anything just because ppl cbb to put effort into a game.
Runelowersaid: The big question is does Jagex need more money? They are swimming in it as is and the game gets shit dead content and bs filler in-between all the MTX bs. I once again can't stress enough you need to remove MTX completely because it does not only devalue certain aspects of the game but most importantly sets bad incentives for the developers (e.g. trying to fuck over the customer as much as possible) whereas if someone remembers RS was one of the games with extremely prosumer attitudes out there, we have done a complete 180 in this regard, very sad and shameful.
A company can never have too much money.
I mean look at amazon the owner of that is the richest person.
