The dagannoth snarls upon its snout meeting the sole of a Fremennik's boot. The
bearded man wastes no time and uses the beast as a boost from the lone long boat
he and his comrades sailed in to the barren, grey island.

Barely visible in
the thick blanket of mist that shrouds the eerie waters they sailed across from
their home, the daring warriors leap into the unknown knowing either country or
Valhalla awaits them but glorious battle was the now and they reveled in the
glory.

A rare light breaks through the mist and all that remains are the
fallen beasts and surviving men basking in the sun's warmth. To live another day
- for honor, glory and country.

Fremenniks Rise.

In the aftermath of V's death, the Fremennik are out for vengance against the Dragonkin, and an organisation by the name of the Robertssworn has given them an opportunity to take it. Their leader, Ruald Ysrualdsson, has told them of a weakness, a deposit of ore uncovered in the wake of V's death.

But it is guarded.

The first expedition sent was almost all captured, but the few who survived came back telling tales of a fire breathing man-dragon stealing away with miners back to it's lair. Now the Fremennik are set on a second expedition, accomplishing what the first expedition could not and obtaining the mysterious ore called "Bane". Rumored to be the same material used by Robert the Strong to drive the Dragonkin into hiding, the Fremennik hope to use it to fight the Dragonkin, but first they must prepare for a perilous journey by picking up fire-resistant gear and potions to help protect from their adversaries.

This is a call to arms. A signal to the Fremennik not to back down, that the Dragonkin are killable, and that we need to take the fight to them.

Laws for Fremennik


¦|Murder

Murder is the act of killing a man in cold blood and is considered a major crime. Murderers are not entitled to a trial unless they confess their crimes to the next free man they see after committing the crime.
The typical penalty for murder is death by method of choice.

¦|Treason

Treason is the act of dishonourable rebellion and is considered a major crime. Traitors are not entitled to a trial, but may challenge the earl to an honourable duel.
The typical penalty for treason is death by beheading.

¦|Cowardice

Cowardice is the act of deserting one's peers in combat and is considered a major crime. Cowards are not entitled to a trial at court.
The typical penalty for cowardice is a beating and a three days in the stocks.

¦|Theft

Theft is the act of taking another's property without permission and is considered a minor crime. Thieves are entitled to a trial at court.
The typical penalty for theft is a fine and a day in the stocks.

¦|Assault

Assault is the act of dishonourably attacking an unwilling free man and is considered a minor crime. Assailants are entitled to a trial at court.
The typical penalty for assault is a fine and a half-day in the stocks.

Laws for Outlanders


*|Travel

All outlanders will stick to the defined paths within Fremennik land. Failure to do so in any way will be considered trespassing.

||City

Outlanders will strictly remain within the defined areas of towns and cities within Fremennik land. Failure to do so will be considered trespassing.

||Weapons

Outlanders are not allowed to carry weapons of any sort within Fremennik settlements. Failure to comply will result in the outlander being killed with their own weapon.

¦|Hunting

Any outlander found hunting within Fremennik land will be considered a poacher. Failure to comply will result in the outlander being hogtied and fed to the animal they were hunting.

¦|Respect
Whilst dealing with a Fremennik, outlanders must be respectful and courteous at all times. The Fremennik people reserve the right to beat any outlanders at their free will.

Personality: In the past, he would have had good group social skills, but nowadays 'Vulrath' is a bit of a loner, preferring to spend his time in the woods or mountains with nothing but his own weapon and wits. Not much a talker, grunting more often than forming actual words.
Brief History: Born into a small village, 'Vulrath' was trained from a young age to fight and survive in the wilds, over the years becoming a strong and influential young man. They formulated a false plan to unveil what would be a hideous act against their own people. Essentially, 'Vulrath' confronted the chief, putting a blade to his throat, and soon discovered his own companions had turned against him, convincing him to commit treason. He was restrained and later exiled from the village, stripped of his name and title, and sent unarmed into the wilds, later presumed dead, and forgotten.
Other Information: Skilled with most melee weapons and styles, e.g. Dual-wielding, 2h weapons. Also thrown weapons, particularly spears or javelins. 'Vulrath' isn't his real name. As mentioned above, it was taken from him when he was exiled.
Preferred Weapon If Any: Spear/javelin or dual blades.

I initially made this character ages ago, so the history might seem a little dodgy. If possible, it could be rewritten to tie into any ic fremmy lore.

Appearance: Medium length, blonde hair that falls in the middle of his forehead. He has a very angular, handsome face with defined cheekbones and a relatively wide jaw. He has cloudy green/gray eyes that rest just below his seemingly manicured eyebrows. In contrast to many of the other Northerners, he has a deep olive complexion. Drake stands at around 6'2" and is built lean but solid, weighing around 175lbs.

Personality: Mostly kept to himself, reserved personality. Drake, for example, is the kid who sits in the back of the class who necessary answers hard questions and surprises everyone. He has a inability to hold grudges and is all-in-all a kind person, but as an introvert most people do not think much of him.

Other Information: His father was an outsider who had a child with a Fremennik woman, hence the unorthodox name.

Brief History: Raised in a cottage in the north, Drake has only known the forest. Considered a Fremennik, but regarded as an outsider has made it difficult for Drake to trade the animals he hunts.

Preferred Weapon If Any: Hunting bow, two daggers; but still proficient with a single-handed sword. He's able to drive an arrow through a squirrels eye from 20-30 yards away.

Brief History: After passing his trials, Eth disappeared into the frosty forests surrounding Relleka without explanation or notice. Upon returning, the boy that had once been no longer remained. He had become a product of isolation and solitude, yet still hungry for the thrill of the hunt.

Brief History: Originally from the nearby city Keldagrim, Denrak was raised in the poor conditions of the city's eastern side. Underpaid, overworked and paranoid from the disappearance of nearby dwarves, he could take no more and left to find a new home. He found that the closest was the most appropriate: Relleka. While the trials were tough, he was determined to
gain acceptance, and eventually managed to pass them.

Appearance: The first thing somebody will notice about Sfet is her height, because by the spirits and ancestors, she is very, very tall- a bit under six and a half feet tall, to be exact, and broad-shouldered. Her skin is tan due to time in the sun, and bright blue eyes peek under either her mask or her coif; her face is usually covered regardless. Her hair is curled and tightly pinned back, bleached from the sun and often coloured with bright white ash. Notable scars are all covered by her armour save for a few nicks on her face.

Her armour is a mix of dragonhide and normal leather, indicating that she doesn't seem to be lying when she says she knows how to kill a dragon or two. Around her neck is a necklace that holds a large tooth on it; she likes to make up stories about it as she goes.

Personality: Sfet's got a bit of a dry sense of humour, and has an overall demeanor suggesting that of a combat veteran, but when it comes to killing or harming actual humans she tends to shy away from direct involvement. She takes her role as a Robertssworn seriously. Her recent amnesia means that she is often confused.

Other Information: Plot character for the Dragonkin thing!

Brief History: Sfet's story starts waking up with a splitting headache, being tended to by those at Daemonheim. Now that she has recovered, she is returning to Relleka and rediscovering the Robertssworn that she had once called brothers and sisters, and piecing together the past.
It is known that she is a veteran of the Robertssworn.

Brief History: Antony was born Fremennik to his father, Sven. He grew up in Neitiznot, living there until he turned 18, at which point he went out exploring into Kandarin. He did occasionally return home, but most of his time between the ages of 18-21 were spent adventuring, he even managed to best a dragon at one point in his life.
Preferred Weapon If Any: He carries a steel shortsword, which he is fairly well-trained at using. He does have an anti-dragon shield he occasionally uses alongside his sword.

Appearance: Like any other, Styrr stands around six feet tall, raven-haired and well built, though oddly so. While he can be seen as a person, something does not quite add up at second glance like the way he moves, speaks, and even acts in social situations. (If his age did not give it away already). Were he shirtless, his body is utterly scarred, many from monsters and other things, though some seem self-inflicted or the work of unusual tools.

Personality: Styrr often keeps to himself, very calm and collected. To anger him takes a great deal of effort.

Other Information: Can speak a couple of languages.

Brief History: Styrr, always an odd fellow, scarred child in some cases... As would be expected from someone who spent most of his lifes prowling the wilds and never having set foot in civilization until he was 17 years of age.

During that time, Styrr had undergone extensive training, ruthless mental and physical conditioning, and other mysterious rituals meant to turn him into a deadly weapon, not against men, but against all the unnatural scum that inhabits Gielinor.

Most of his history is hidden from others, as he only discloses it to people he trusts, which can be counted with one hand.

Preferred Weapon If Any: Steel and Enchanted Sil*thril Swords.

Appearance: Brynja Grennsdřttir has a reasonable height of 5'10", tall and strong, her pale frame is fitting for a young woman of Fremennik heritage. Her flame-kissed wild hair is kept back in high ponytail for functional purposes beyond the occasional time she lets it fall down her back. With soft blue eyes and wind-burnt cheeks, Brynja's sharp features give her a warming sort of look to her, no doubt this further cemented by her general positive nature.

As a seamstress, her duties of crafting the furs, fabrics and clothes of the town allows her own-crafted attire to be somewhat well made (despite still being 'crude' to southern standards), usually in dark brown or grey skirts and shirts.

Personality: She's friendly, fun-filled, curious for adventure and knowledge and loyal to boot. Does what she can to keep folks happy and helps those she can.

Brief History: With the feuds between the neighbouring isles of Jatizso and Neitiznot having been on for several generations and no sign of stopping, the unlikely secret relationship between the tanner boy of Neitiznot and the fisher girl from Jatizso was never allowed to last. With the girl falling pregnant, the young couple eloped to Rellekka and settled into the 'capital' of the Fremennik Province, marrying quickly after.

Soon a healthy baby girl was born, whom they named Brynja. She grew up amongst her peers and family, from a young age learning tanning from her father, the role of a seamstress from a neighbour however. Time passed and she lived around the Northern Tide for a while, though as the government fell, she left Rellekka around the Isles, to improve her craft having returned recently, to return to her life as iit was before she left.

Ulfheoinn tossed and turned restlessly throughout the night until he couldn’t take it anymore. He finally arose reaching for the nightstand where his hand brushed against the crest on his journal. After lighting a candle, he sat down opening to a blank page where his hand took on a mind of its own. Soon after the page began to fill with the words of everything that troubled his mind.



“One can not predict the outcome of what is to come. It seems like yesterday the Robertssworn brought us a way to avenge V, all of the clans are united once more, and the southern oppression is over. The ancestor have blessed us, everything that needs to happen seems to be falling in place. But yet, the words of one of my advisors still lingers in my thoughts. He warned me that the Robertssworn could be the downfall to us. What if someone worthy like their Robert comes along, will they still help our people or will mutiny destroy us?

I fought one out at sea, Sfet is what she goes by. How quick I was in accepting the duel once she questioned me to be a coward. I fought on the boat with nothing but my spear and honour held high. Alas, I misjudged her, and the alcohol did nothing but to cloud my mind. At the end of it, I was in the water surely sinking to a watery grave. However, my opponent was not without mercy. She brought me back up to the boat and saved my life. All I remember before I came back was seeing my father again. ---

I never knew my father, but mother always told me he had charisma for a drunkard. She said his family was like a plague and everything they touched met an untimely end. The Fremenniks took him in but a seer claimed the enchanted wreckage to be a bad omen as such he grew up an outsider. Not one to get discouraged he trained harder then most to become a great warrior hoping for acceptance through his actions. Although he become strong and skilled he saw that even that would not get him accepted. He left(with the blessings of the chief) to travel the world. Not long into his travels he came upon slayer. Upon learning one could make money by traveling the world, meet interesting creatures and kill them he wished to join immediately. He found a master who trained him in the ways of slayer even going so far as to learn combat magic to better handle monsters had to face. He started to miss his home as years went bye and decided to eventually make a trip back.

Brief History: Einarr was born in the 5th Age to parents he does not remember or care to remember. But fortune smiled on the boy as he was first found by a female Dire wolf who mourned her pups, lost to local hunters.
The Dire wolf raised the boy the best a wolf could raise a human child and against the odds, Einarr survived and grew. At the age of 8 he was found by Fremennik hunters who were first surprised when they heard rumours of the wolf child and even more so when they actually found him and eventually subdued him before bringing him into the village. For 5 years, Einarr was slowly taught the Fremennik ways until one day, the Dire wolf that had been ever by his side died. Honouring her memory and the Fremennik ways, Einarr wear her pelt to this day. A year later he passed his trails at 14.

I was actually wondering if anyone was thinking of having a kid. If that was the case I could always be their kid. I'm sort of looking to build a character up from a child, although would be easier if I could just, you know, be someone's kid, as opposed to a character who doesn't really have any family, per say.
