Morytania Bounties
Quick find code: 237-238-881-65862105
Established shortly before the country-wide ban on weaponry, and funded by the government, the Bounty Offices of Morytania (BOoM) allow trained warriors and monster-slayers alike to help out their country, and to be paid finely for it.
Why was this done? Officially, the ruling classes in Morytania claim it's a fine success, the removal of weaponry across the country - it means that terorists and outlaws will have much more difficult times obtaining their equipment. ....however, outlaws and terrorists still exist, and so the BOoM was created in advance - so that Morytania could deal with such problems.
"Why not let the Vyrewatch handle it?" - this is a common question which is sent to the Bounty Office. The simple answer is, the Bounty Office means that humans can be employed at good rates, being given food and gold aplenty.
What is required of a bounty hunter? Simply that they have nerves of steel, a quick sword hand (or crossbow trigger), that they follow the law, and that they hunt down and kill their targets without mercy. Lawful bounties, which both protect Morytania, and give the fighters food and gold. What's not to love?
After completing every bounty, on top of their pay, Bounty Hunters are given two days' worth of food and water per bounty.

THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS ARE ALL ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
EACH OF THEM HAS A BOUNTY ON THEIR HEAD FOR A REASON.
Stiv Grofur
[ ? ]
A bandosian ork, Grofur is a religious extremist who belives that all non-bandosians must pay, simply because "big high war god died". Why he chose Morytania to take his anger out on, however, isn't known. What is known, however, is the last known sight of his attack. Find out where his hideout is, and eliminate him.

Geralt Endsworth

Mainly a sword-weilder, this man claims to be some kind of vigilante. Regardless, the powers that be want him put down. Has been seen frequenting Canifis and the Myreque memorial. He is suspected to have hidden weaponry on him; don't get close.
Klara "Daughter of Ahrim" Fyke
[ ? ]
From the same group that "Johnny Axeborn" came from, this's another example of a tribal gone mad; except this one uses magic. Suspectedly powerful magic. Find and eliminate her.
"Bluurg"
[ ? ]
Someone who thinks they can get away with robbing passers-by in mort'ton, this person attempts to act like an ill villager - until somebody gets close. Likely lightly armed.
Laythe Iorwerth-Hefin

An armed, highly dangerous, highly well-trained elf (or half-elf), Laythe has crystal equipment which can cut through steel like butter, and is exceptionally good at moving through the swampland unnoticed. DO NOT TAKE HIM ON ALONE.

ISAAC STARK - LOCATION UNKNOWN

Sword-artist, slayer, Myreque leader, this man is one of the ones directly responsible for most of the "New Myreque's" movements. He is exceptionally dangerous, and not to be taken on alone. Any sightings should be REPORTED IMMEDIATELY.
"CALSIDIU" - LOCATION UNKNOWN

A veteran "New Myreque" activist, Calsidiu is suicidally reckless, but not to be underestimated. A bladesman as well as a trapper, he can pose extreme danger.
EBONY STRIFE - LOCATION UNKNOWN

A higher-tier Myreque member, Strife can be cunning and vicious. Strife will likely try to lead you into a trap, or poison you - or both. Do not engage without requesting reinforcements.

Your status as a Bounty Hunter is represented through one thing only : your Bounty Hunter Card, which has your name, details, and some traces of magic to make the card traceable incase it's stolen, or incase you die on an assignment. You MUST carry this card with you whenever you're on duty, and whenever you're carrying weaponry in Morytania.
A Bounty Hunter card:
Renders the owner exempt from ALL tithes, including tithe-based tolling.
Gives the owner free reign to carry weapons, both on-display and concealed carry.
Entitles the owner to limitedly use supplies offered by the Bounty Offices of Morytania
A Bounty Hunter card does
Entitle the holder to attack anyone they feel like.
Entitle the holder to carry blisterwood or silver-alloy weaponry.
Entitle the holder to carry a large amount of holy water.

This is set in Silver Team's version of Morytania, which is to say it is semi-private. This means that anyone is free to join, but they are able to choose which parts of the lore and environment they choose to recognize. Likewise, we are free to choose which elements of your character we recognize, simply so the story doesn't get borked up.
Content may vary. Some bounties may be more humorous, others may be more serious. Some might be short and simple, others might be long and involved. Usually from the description and name of a bounty, you'll be able to tell what kind of bounty it will be, however you can always ask the GM (usually Last Deterro) in advance if you're unsure.
