Hi, I'm Steve, I get called Stewy, Dub or Noob - I respond to all.

I've been playing RuneScape (quite poorly) for about 6 years, and I've been with Jagex for about 4 years. When I'm not at work my free time is taken up entertaining my 2 kids grrrrr (I love them really) which usually involves either spending a lot of money or doing anything related in any way at all to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

What are you listening to on your iPod right now?
The Worlds On Fire Live album from The Prodigy, I challenge you to listen to it and stay still at the same time - not possible. :)

Coolest looking in game item?
Dagon'hai robes - no question.

Oldest console owned?
Sega Genesis.

Last book read?
I'm not a big book fan, probably the Hobbit - I recall picking up my copy to give my kids to read and ended up reading it again myself before I handed it over.

What will be your key focus in your work role over the next few months?
I'm going to have a good long look at the forums and see if we can do something to offer people more functionality. Apart from that I want to build on player feedback - we need to get you guys involved more - whether that's player councils, real life meetings - I don't know right now, but it's one to build on.

Salut!

I'm Mod French and, in spite of my mod name and being in charge of the French Community, I'm not French. No, really. ;)

I've been at Jagex for 4 and a bit years, and it's a great chance for me to now use my skills in other languages to support the community. <img class=" title="^_^" src="https://www.runescape.com/img/blk.gif">

In the past, I've dealt with Pmods, Events and even Billing, so I have a lot of general knowledge to call on. So if you're in the neighbourhood, come say hi. Or bonjour.

What are you listening to on your iPod right now?
Someone like you - Adele

Coolest looking in game item?
Ummm... The eggs that you turn into when wearing the Easter Ring.

Oldest console owned?
Oldest console owned *by me* is the original Gameboy. I played Tetris for 2 years.

Last book read?
Northanger Abbey - Jane Austen. I'm now working through 'Emma'.

What will be your key focus in your work role over the next few months?
So much to choose from! Getting the French Community involved in big events and even having their own ones. Getting to know the community. Building on the French-English friendship forums. I'm sure more things will turn up as we go.

Hi all,
I'm Mod Jon H. You may already know me as I've been here for over five years now.
My hobbies mainly involve music (I'm currently playing in five different bands, might be joining a sixth and have had to turn down a couple more due to scheduling difficulties!) and I also occasionally find the time to read and play videogames. At the moment I'm deeply engrossed in Fallout: New Vegas. :)
Here's what I look like (taken at a Jagex laser tag event a little while ago) :

What are you listening to on your iPod right now? Children Of Bodom - Shovel Knockout
Coolest looking in game item? Since my account is more than five years old I'm quite fond of my Veteran Cape.
Oldest console owned? I still have my original NES - it's here with me in Cambridge, it still works, and it gets brought out every so often for retro sessions. It wasn't my first gaming machine though - that was an Amstrad CPC which my family got in 1986...
Last book read? Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson
What will be your key focus in your work role over the next few months?I spend a lot of my time on the forums and I hope to continue doing so. :)

Greetings, daywalkers.

I have been working on the night shift for about 4 years now and I'm pretty certain I'm now allergic to sunlight.

I play a lot of console and PC games, and have evolved a form of photosynthesis that allows me to survive almost solely on the light from an LCD monitor and a diet of coffee. I also play badminton, in a vain attempt to balance things out a bit!

What are you listening to on your iPod right now? Go Forth and Die by Dethklok

Coolest looking in game item? I like the new clan capes, in black and white.

Oldest console owned? Probably my Megadrives.

Last book read? The Magician's Apprentice by Trudi Canavan

What will be your key focus in your work role over the next few months? I will be working hard to support the communities that are online during our night-time hours. :)

I will also be focusing on coffee.

Lots of coffee.

Hallo allerseits!

I'm responsible for our German - ( Not Dutch :P ) - speaking players all over the world. You may have seen me at the English forums and at some events as well because I consider the RuneScape community as an international one and do my best to support it in every possible way.

What are you listening to on your iPod right now? I like the silence

Coolest looking in game item? Difficult to pick one. I like the alien out of the shooting stars.

Oldest console owned? Console? Hmm, does an Amiga 500 count as well? Remember Bard's Tale, I played this awesome game all along and managed to draw all the dungeons on squared paper.

Last book read? Betrayal at Falador by T. S. Church, indeed, and I'm excited to read the sequel.

What will be your key focus in your work role over the next few months? I could set forth all my ideas for the next month, but spare the time for you and keep it straight to the point: My Plans are all leading to the one important goal: Keeping you players happy.
Auf Wiedersehen! :)

Olá,

I'm Mod Luiz and I joined Jagex in November 2009. Since then, my time has been divided between managing the Brazilian/Portuguese community and supporting our players at night. You're more likely to find me on the forums or on the RuneScape Facebook page.

I truly love what I do and Jagex is an awesome company to work for. Plus the night shift team is amazing, we always do things together outside work including jollies paid by the company.. What else could I ask for? :)

What are you listening to on your iPod right now? Pegboy - Through My Fingers

Coolest looking in game item? It has to be the Dragon two-handed sword

Oldest console owned? A Brazilian version of the Home Pong, an Atari 2600 and buried somewhere I might find my Donkey Kong Jr Game & Watch, epic!

Last book read? PHP for Dummies

What will be your key focus in your work role over the next few months?
To keep it short, keep supporting the growth of the Brazilian/Portuguese community. Soon we'll be celebrating our 2-year anniversary so I'm planning some exciting things for it. And of course, keep supporting the players on the early hours.

Até a próxima!

Hi all,

I mainly work with Timbo to support the clan community and I love it! I can usually be found working on events and posting about the latest clan happenings. I can be indecisive at times (although never when important) which is why I am currently dressed like a pirate ninja. ^_^
What are you listening to on your iPod right now? Lovers in Japan / Reign of Love - by Coldplay.

Coolest looking in game item? The rubber chicken.

Oldest console owned? My N64 - Mario Kart, Ocarina of Time and Golden Eye ftw!

Last book read? I'm currently reading The Winter King by Bernard Cornwell

What will be your key focus in your work role over the next few months? Encouraging players to join the clan community and working towards some of the main clan events of the year. :)

And trolling Timbo of course. >.>

Greetings, all!

I’m Mod Poppy, Supreme Mistress of Teh Forums and of the Pink Patrons of Pain clan.

My hobbies include firewalking, video games (mainly Xbox) and running around after my Burmilla cat, OJ (full name LolCat Purrminator).
I take care of the day to day running of the F-mod team, and also help in organising player visits to Jagex.

If Jon H has a picture in his post, I want one too! *copies*

I also look after players when they are invited to Jagex for competitions etc.

What are you listening to on your iPod right now? ‘No More Idols’ - Chase and Status

Coolest looking in game item? Vyrewatch Boots – the only shoes with killer heels.

Oldest console owned? Atari 2600.I think it’s still collecting dust in my parents’ attic. Oh, the memories!

Last book read? Player One by Douglas Coupland.

What will be your key focus in your work role over the next few months?

My main focus will be whipping F-mods into shape *watches as the Green Team runs and hides*. In all seriousness, the forums have changed quite a lot in tone and structure during the last few months, and alongside the plans that Steve Dubz has for the forums, I’ll be shaping the forum mod team as we move through 2011.

What about the other part of my role? Any lucky player who wins a visit to Jagex HQ gets me as their personal guardian – it’s my responsibility to make sure you get here safely, have a great time, and that you leave afterwards. ;)

Hey all!
Well that's all our CM crew rounded up! We might be missing a few, short from the full head count, which means they're probably on dungeon duty (which is much more complicated that it sounds now that the rooms self replicate).
As you can see we're a bit of an odd crew, and a testament to that would be the different songs we love. Just to give you a better example, if we made a playlist of all the different songs it would kinda look like this:
Light My Fire - The Doors
I need a Dollar - Aloe Blacc
Best of Chicane - Chicane
Invincible - Two Steps From Hell.
Fascinating Rhythm - Mel Torme
Danny Byrd's album - Rave Digger.
Blow me away - Breaking Benjamin
The Final Frontier - Iron Maiden
Sound of Solitude - Myslovitz
In the End - Linkin Park
15 step - Radiohead
Giantbombcast - A podcast...
Dizzy - Goo Goo Dolls
Walk - Foo Fighters
Lucy Wan - Jim Moray
Kick the Bucket - Charlie Winston
Hitchin a ride - Green Day
The kids are all right - The Who
Through fire and flames- Dragonforce
The Worlds On Fire - The Prodigy
Someone like you – Adele
Shovel Knockout - Children Of Bodom
Go Forth and Die - Dethklok
Through My Fingers - Pegboy
Lovers in Japan - Coldplay.
No More Idols - Chase and Status
I dare any one of you to listen to it and keep your sanity intact!
But enough about us. The question at hand now is: What about you?
We want to know what makes you tick, what makes you giggle, and of course what you love about RuneScape!
We're interested in anything you might want to tell us about you. For those of you who don't like squeezing their brain cells (I would be one of those mind you!) you can answer our CM approved question template:

What are you listening to on your iPod right now?
Coolest looking in game item?
Oldest console owned?
Last book read?
Looking at our playlist: Who has the better taste in music?

But since we are a gaming company, we wouldn't be doing a good job if we didn't make this a bit more interactive now would we? So the following questions are MANDATORY! -*evil manical laugh in the background*-

Evil Experiment 1:
Close your eyes and point at "3 o'clock". Open your eyes. What are you pointing at?

Evil Experiment 2:
Look around you. Without cheating... What is the CLOSEST book to you?

Evil Experiment 3:
Think of a random number. Now add three. Subtract 7. Multiply it by 28. Divide it by 19. Finally think of an animal and a colour. Now answer this question.... What did you have for lunch yesterday?

Hi there!
I'm currently mainly working on the FunOrb forums and Herotopia.
What are you listening to on your iPod right now? Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru.
Coolest looking in game item?
Oldest console owned? I started out gaming with a ZX Spectrum, which shows my age I guess. After that I owned an Atari 2600 and then the original PlayStation, which was quite a leap up.
Last book read? Currently reading From the Dead by Mark Billingham. Prior to that I read Club Dead by Charlaine Harris.
What will be your key focus in your work role over the next few months? On Herotopia I'll be regularly updating the website and responding to emails from players and parents. I'll also be regularly updating the website.
On FunOrb I'll continue to try and encourage more player-ran events and creative gameplay (including supporting the Community Champions).
