I have yet to read one of the posts described that was worth reading.
"I demand more readable worthless bullshit!" isn't a very dignified demand lol
I do take your point though.
That could be an argument for why we should let trolls post whatever they want (as long as it's legal).

I also oppose removing all font colours from the forums. I see them used the proper way in the clan recruitment forums, among other places.
I agree with this - no need to punish all forumers and take away colors and styling because of a few trolls.

Ignoring the posts is one approach, or highlighting the text is another. Just a quick tripple-click will highlight an entire paragraph, just in case someone decides to write up a post in a deliberately unreadable color.

Why must ppl have to go out of their way to find some 3rd paty app or even highlight a post just so they can read it?

Isnt that going a bit OTT?
I replaced the quoted text you snipped because I can't find where the 3rd party app you bring up was mentioned. Also, nowhere was it claimed that anyone has to do anything to read a post. If you can't read it, highlight it or ignore it. It's really no big deal. No, it's not over the top. I'm an advocate for choices... we have the choice to read or ignore, posters have the choice to pick a color to post in. If I'm interested enough in the topic, I'll exert a bit more effort, if I need to, to participate.

The point here is that anyone can make any text readable with very little effort on their own end without restricting anyone else from anything.

I do respect your opinion, though, and I feel there can be compromise here. For instance, the most I'd be willing to support is the ability for users to toggle BBCode rendering from their own profile. That way, if highlighting posts is something a user might not want to bother with, they can toggle off BBCodes rendering and the forums will display posts "the old fashioned way" and completely ignore formatting. This stops colors, designs, and formats from triggering only those who it actually triggers and allows everyone else the freedom to... carry on as-is.

So Jagex should waste time making a toggle
No. If it's a waste of time to make a toggle, the status quo seems to be working where you can highlight the unreadable text and read it if you feel like it or just ignore the post.

My suggestion was to give options to members of the community who feel that highlighting text and ignoring posts isn't quite enough. If the idea is to be so perversely disinclined to satisfaction that nothing other than removing everyone's ability to post in color is the only perceived solution, I do not support the initiative.
