So if they get included in the normal trap limit then I support having a 5th location on fossil island.

For clarification, your argument is why can't you have 5 of these when you can have 5 of any other trap which is why I'm using this logic.

Correct, I'm not hunting elsewhere while my birdhouse traps are up and I don't mind that players are able to do both, what I'm saying is there is no 5th location which is why I find it odd that we can only place 4 of these but 5 of any other kind of trap.

Yeah it makes sense, either way it wouldn't bother me haha I'd still only use Birdhouses. A 5th would be really nice...

Birdhouses are already pretty useful, they don't really need a buff.

There's a whole bunch of reasons I don't think this is at all a good idea.

What other reasons?

Extra traps should only be allowed inside of the wilderness. That's part of the draw to bring players there. If you wanna incentivize something with extra traps in particular, make it risky. Otherwise, find something else to get my support. I have nothing against buffing this particular piece of content, so I'm sure we could find something.

I said "Add 1 more spot on Fossil Island to place a 5th birdhouse, at 80 Hunter we can use 5 traps of any other kind, why not these?"

How does that devalue Wilderness Hunting?
Do you know how Birdhouses work?

I'm aware it's not box traps, but I'd only like extra traps to be available inside of the wilderness. Risk for reward.

It wouldn't be an extra trap like it is for in the Wilderness, it would just be giving us the 5th trap, which is unlocked at level 80.
