How is treating one sex properly as they deserve to be sexist towards another sex? According to that logic, being nice to someone is seen as toxic towards another group even if that other group isn't being attacked in any way, shape, or form so does that mean we should stop congratulating someone every time they level up a stat since it'd be seen as toxic towards everyone else who didn't get congratulated by that person or group of people?

I'm pretty sure you're a troll but you don't need some sort of pride event to treat people properly , most players treat everyone fine

i'm sorry, last i checked this was a WOMAN (and not men) EVENT.

there's a difference between, I don't know,

helping someone cross the street, or letting someone borrow your phone to make a call,

and a FRICKIN' WEEK LONG EVENT ALL ABOUT YOU.

how about a "thank you players" kind of thing, and it could be on thanksgiving? don't you think all people deserve an event? especially one they can share?

Refer to my rainbow afro guy suggestion :) . also like a thank you players event

Women are the ones being mistreated, not men. By your logic, literally any event in the history of this game can be seen as negative since there has to have been at least one under-represented group in all of them. If that was the case, this game would always have stayed the same and we would never have gotten any updates.

Also, Thanksgiving is exclusive to those who don't celebrate it. Whether you're a man, woman, or any of the other 65 genders, you could still attend this event to be proud and happy for women that they'd be receiving acceptance over this online game.

I don't support your afro suggestion as I never saw what the hell it had to do with any of this.

I'm gonna say it again ravi... you are OTT OFFENSIVE.

I am a woman who has played RuneScape for more than a dozen YEARS and in all that time YOU are the only player who has EVER made me feel like I shouldn't be playing the game. YOU are the ONLY player who has EVER been so condescending and demeaning that you'd offend the average sailor just by opening your mouth.

But the worst part of all of it is that with this suggestion you are implying that men who play this game treat the women who play this game, improperly.

Keep in mind that how anybody is treated IN THE REAL WORLD, has NOTHING to do with how they are treated in the game and you are suggesting that there's a need for a women's "acceptance event" and that can only mean YOU believe that the men who play this game are mistreating the women who play this game.

You are WRONG. On so many levels.

Why don't you simply make suggestions for your own group instead of falsely claiming a desire to represent a group you know nothing about.

Until YOU learn to "accept" others, there's not a snowball's chance in hell that others are going to support your ideas.

You've trolled the forums too long now ravi, and nobody can take you seriously on anything. That, is a fact.

I'll safely ignore your flame comments as it's nothing more than evidence you've run out of rational arguments and resorted to insulting my character. I'll only refute the arguments that are on topic on your post.

You're right. How people are being treated in the real world has nothing to do with how they're treated in game. However, the fact is that many women are having their genders assumed in game falsely before the person even knows who they are. This results in a great deal of emotional stress for them.

That's why I proposed this event. I don't want anyone to suffer from that kind of harm. Also, keep in mind that I have plenty of women friends in game and for all you know, I could affiliate as one myself.

All of these "event" suggestions are now closed.

It is clear that despite many requests from several moderators that posts be on the topic of the event, these threads are still being used to bring up real life political disagreements, as well as to down, flame and bait other players. None of which is welcome on the forums.

Do not post any more of these types event suggestions around real world issues.
