Draco Burnzsaid: So going by that we dont need yet another IM mode.
3 IMO is by far enough.
Forgetting the key differences between a regular ironman and hardcore ironman already, are we Draco?
What SnoutedCobra is merely suggesting that, much like the ironmen, the ultimate ironmen should have their own version of a 'hardcore', as it would no doubt prove to be the true test of any runescape veteran.
Whereas regular ironmen have the luxury of a bank at their convenience, that is not so true for the ultimate ironmen. To have an hardcore feature added on top of that would make for a challenge of the highest difficulty, where one death as an ultimate ironman with this prestige removes it, much as it would for the regular ironmen.
A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep it’s edge.
I support hardcore ult ironmen, simply because ultimate ironman is a false challenge. Being able to die with items and store them for an hour seems to remove the idea of only having your inventory. Too many ways to make normal ultimate easier, this eliminates a huge one.A camel is an even-toed ungulate within the genus
I'd actually be a really interesting challenge. I'm now trying to think of how you'd be able to do certain quests, etc. POH storage and LMS coin deposit bag would be the only places where you could place your items in this kind of game mode. RS3 are going to have more game modes and there's potentially going to be Group Ironman mode in Old School so one more mode wouldn't hurt anyone but that'd be way too much in my opinion.
Support for sure. I'd be willing to make one if Jagex ever did release this game mode, since UIM is kind of a joke since you can just die and use Looting Bags as a bank of sorts. Same with storing items at Zulrah. The only thing is I worry it wouldn't pass a poll.Dartmourya- Permanent OSRS Iron Man and Proud
