So I finally came back to playing after long time thanks to mobile platform. However, I have had my account and steal all my items and 40m gold. I have complex password, bank pin, and all your other security measures. Since it is on mobile and I sign into my account with google. So please explain to me how my account got comprised? Then to look at all your rules and saying you guys wont do anything. So is this game trying to stay in 2001? No other mobile game or game has your rules on punishing players that dont cheat and favor the ones that do. If there is nothing you guys will do I will be done with jedex. I have never had a problem on any other game. At least when you guys first started this game you guys actually helped your players but now just seems like sandbagging them.

Sadly I dont use the computer for this game and only use mobile. Secondly I have Norton on my phone and androids security. The only time I even get on the web browser for this game is support and to set up my security questions and now here. There is no leak on my end. Also I have read that article if you didn't read all my statement. I dont use any third party I only use the application from Google store.

It is funny how it was only this game if the leak of information was on my end they would of hit alot more then just one mobile app out of others I spend more. Shows that it is coming from runescapes end.

It's honestly hard for any of us to comment on how your account was hijacked. We don't have access to that information, after all.

Jagex in particular can't easily identify how you were hijacked either, since they can't monitor your web browsing activity. They'd only see that your account was accessed and that's it.

Truth be told, hijackings occur for any number of reasons:
1. Old passwords that were never changed.
2. Lacking account security - e.g. The RuneScape Authenticator.
3. Hijacked email addresses, which can allow the hijacker to change your account's password for them to access.
4. Phishing websites or phishing emails that ask for your login information/bank pin.
5. Using an account that was not created by you - Players often buy accounts online thinking it's allowed and that they can use it without any problems, but it's often set up so that the seller will just recover/hijack the account.

All of the reasons I mentioned cannot be monitored by Jagex. Jagex cannot say 'Ya, we see that you fell for a phishing scam', because they simply cannot monitor your browser history.

At this point, you should review your Account's Security. Change your password, apply the RuneScape authenticator, review your email's security, apply an Authenticator on your email and change your in-game bank pin.

Nope I am good on that I just learned a 200 dollar bound lesson. I started playing this game in 2001 and tried getting back into it but jedex has poor consumer protection. There is no need for me to use 3rd party systems I didn't mind the prices on the in game purchases.
