This had to had happened in the last few days as I had only been on this account which is my main since I had been playing on a free account since my friend joined to lvl together, anyways I had logged into my account today and from what I can see, all my items are there but not my gold, in the past I had purchased OSRS bonds and had about 17 mill stashed away, I scroll threw and its not there. I have had no account alerts or anything come to my email about logins from unknown areas etc, I don't know what happened to my gold and I am in need of answers. I am asking for a Jagex employee to help me and help me resolve this for I am truly baffled.

Any additional info please just ask, I will be coming back every hour to provide updates and just to see whats going on. If this is not the proper area for this I am sorry as I could not find any support ticket avenue etc. thru my account panel.

The first question to you would be, what state was your Authenticator in?
Is it still active on your account or has it been disabled?
Finding out the state of the Authenticator gives a clue as to how the hijacker might have found out your login information.

Hey Malua, I appreciate you writing I see you're not a Mod or employee of Jagex unless I am mistaken? but none the less I did not know of a "Authenticator". I am assuming this is like a 2 step verification process similar to other games i've played. As of now though I have setup a bank pin and changed my password and will also be setting up a Authenticator.

Jagex mods more than likely wont post on this thread.

if you look at all the threads Jmods (employees) dont post on here often
as this is " community led account help".

malua is one of the best community helpers (volunteer) that i see post on
the account help forums.

And Jagex may lock an account if they see it logged in from very far away
but this doesnt always happen.

A bank pin is also very important cause even a jmod cannot see the 4 numbers
you have chosen.

Your log in and email were not guessed out of thin air. You need to make sure
you have not gotten a virus or malware.
