A Way to Prevent Scams

Hey :)

Would it be possible while in group chat and lootshare isn't turned on, that the group leader gets all unique drops, so it prevents scamming at Angel of Death/Solak/Vorago and so on.

It would mean teams would easily be made with randoms and nobody would be able to scam an item of high value while in the group system - no need to always do group system if going for drop logs.

Can this be addressed please?

As I stated above, it will be in the group system. The team going will have to decide if it's going to be done in the system or not to prevent scammers.

If done in "
GROUP
" the team will know the leader will get all drops, as I said again, this isn't for going for drop logs.

Remember this is a suggestion to existing content none of this will probably ever make it into the game.

Hello, I followed a scam yesterday. Long story short, we should put a patch into the game that would prevent people from using hunter traps inside buildings.

The scammer will ask you to drop items in Varrock palace up stairs in the dummy room in the corner where the door is, he makes u trade him so now your not in the corner and another account logs in and places a trap and opens the door so u cant get back into the corner and get your dropped items.

Maybe this could give some ideas on what could be done, or possibly not having doors in corner of rooms.

in most cases when a scam is happening the leader is the scammer anyway as hes set it all up.

whats there stopping a group of 3 people (one being the leader) to set up a raid or other pvm activity with 7 others. and only share it between the 3 of them scamming the other 7 people

this is flawed as its taken me 5 seconds to think of that, imagine all the other creative ways it can be abused

so i dont see this as a way to prevent scams. quite the opposite a way to easily scam. as theres 100% chance if there is a drop the scammer can obtain it
