eoc was why most of the players left, and a big reason that there's so many dead content and skills and items in the game... i don't think many players will come back just from them tweaking legacy combat a little

Tenebrisaid: Why So Fishysaid: Why would it be silly to make top end content legacy viable? I don't quite understand.
because its not made for that reason. end game content shouldnt be for legacy. legacy is old combat system that was never intended to be in game now.
Why So Fishysaid: I personally think both should be equal. It really doesn't take any more 'skill' to use EoC over Legacy.
then learn eoc if there is no difference in skill. you are wanting x, x is involved in eoc. you chose to ignore that by your own choices. thats on you.
you claim theres no skill difference between them so all should be hunky dory for your to make that switch.
jagex are here to make a game thats challenging at end game not to spoon feed the people that cant accept change
Why So Fishysaid: You shouldn't be forced to be at a disadvantage because you prefer the older system.
yes you should its the old system that you are lucky is actually still here. it was never intended to be here.
My question is how does it affect you personally. EoC wouldn't get any changes. It would stay the same. Legacy players would be able to enjoy the game better, and have more fun. I don't see what your problem is here. Both sides should be happy. This whole 'adapt or quit' mentality is part of the reason OSRS is a much more successful and popular game atm than RS3. We're all that's left of this community and players like you are just trying to make the community get smaller and smaller. I just personally think the game would be in a better place if you can play the game you want to play it, at all levels of PvM.

It's not only dps difference between legacy and eoc, It's weapons and armour too. If someone has a t92 weapon and someone has a t80 weapon the person with a t92 weapon has an advantage over the player with the t80 weapon. I don't see how buffing legacy is going to help anything. We already got an eoc version of skilling with the M@s rework. I would like to see skilling abilities added since we already had the M@s rework and special attacks for pickaxes That would only work in eoc combat mode. Would make skilling more fun.The brightest ideas are the most undervalued.
if i'm on a kalgerion demon task i change to legacy i seem to hit them better, 3 hits with lance if i get a big hit all 3 times. can kill them fast and feels as if i take alot less damage aswell.. so it doesnt need to hit any higher in this case
