110 Mining & Smithing Post-Launch - This Week In RuneScape

Thanks so much for all the feedback and reports you've provided since 110 Mining & Smithing's release last week!

We've got a whole bunch of fixes dropping in this week's Patch Notes which you can check out below. If you didn't catch the news, we also dropped some important Hot Fixes during the week too - like a huge HP bump for Shooting Stars (which will remain until next week!).

Please do keep the feedback coming - your opinions will be invaluable as we begin to cook up our plans for 110 Woodcutting, Fletching, RuneCrafting, Crafting and beyond!

Hotfixes

• Drastically increased the HP of Shooting Stars to assist players mining for the metallic meteorite fragment.
• Dev Note - Although the initial surge of people mining for the fragment has abated, we plan to maintain this hotfix this week, and revert back to its original values next week to allow players to once again engage with the D&D and fragment as intended.
• Corrected the high alch values and shop prices for the Primal Ore box and Primal Pickaxes base to +5.
• Fixed an issue that made Mining and Smithing brawling gloves drop with 0 charges.

Mining and Smithing

• Fixed an issue with Make-x Smithing that occurred with stackable items, where they would automatically drop to the ground and become unusable objects when attempting to smith.
• Fixed an issue where some Primal Armour items could not be repaired with Primal bars on an anvil.
• Fixed an issue where the Primal 2h Sword +5 required the incorrect amount of bars.
• Fixed an issue where some Primal items were untradeable on the Grand Exchange.
• Fixed an issue where broken, used, and burial Primal items were unintentionally tradeable on the Grand Exchange.
• Mining and Smithing brawling gloves will once again be obtained with charges, rather than with 0 charges.
• Players who have these gloves with 0 charges in their possession can use the "check charges" option to 'fix' them.
• Examining the gloves no longer crashes the game client
• The completion messages for sub-objectives of the Spirit Moonstone (rock) and Attuned Moonstone (rock) are no longer filtered, to aid in tracking completion of a sub-objective when messages are filtered.
• The ingredients used to create the Pickaxe of Life and Death are now always protected on death.
• Mining at Croesus now gives appropriate XP at levels 100 to 110.
• Protean bars and unstable protean bars now give appropriate XP at levels 100 to 110.
• Mining and Smithing at the clan citadel now gives appropriate XP at levels 100 to 110.
• Bonus XP in Mining and Smithing from the clan citadel quartermaster now gives appropriate XP at levels 100 to 110.
• The Mithril/Coal entry of the Book of Metal can now be found in Concentrated Coal.
• Adjusted the clickbox of the "Teleport" button on the 110 Mining and Smithing login pop-up screen.
• Resolved issue with a Primal Full Helm animation on Female Primal Fanatic chatheads.
• Removed a reference to the flora of Daemonheim from the Book of Metal, since it contradicts Daemonheim Archaeology. Thanks for raising this, Duchess Alchimous!
• Adjusted a line about elder rune in Thalmund's dialogue.
• Fixed a typo in the metamorphic geode's Primal Stone Spirits drop message.
• Fixed a typo in the Demonic Essence examine text.
• Fixed a typo in the Kalphite Essence examine text.
• Clarified live text in the tooltip for Abyssal Armour Spikes from "On damaging an enemy" to "On spike damaging an enemy".

General

• Buggy Mush and Mushy Mush now have separate models and are easily differentiated.

Community Spotlight

Fast SC

Fast Sc is the World 99 Non-Combat Stealing Creation Friends Chat, Where Friends Are Gathered As Much As Clay. Their goal is to provide safe and fast games for all their members.

The main focus of non-combat Stealing Creation is collecting and depositing clay. Once all the clay has been depleted from the game map, the timer drops to one minute left regardless of how much time is on the clock. This allows you to net points in faster per hour! Fast Sc is able to help you get with the Claymation achievement, obtain your Artisan's and Fletcher's outfits, and grab some bonus XP in the process!
