Summer Double XP - This Week In RuneScape

Now that the Sanctum of Rebirth has opened its doors, it's a great time to get your skills up to speed! Dive into combat to pump up your power, work on Herblore to get your potion game on point, or start preparing for the upcoming Mining and Smithing update - the choice is yours, with Double XP!

In this 10-day event, you have 48 hours of Double XP to use at your leisure. You can pause the timer at any point, so you won't lose even a second of precious training time. Double XP starts Friday, August 2nd and lasts until Monday, August 12th, starting and ending at 12:00 PM Game Time. Learn more about how it works here!

As we continue to refine the DXP store and tokens, we have made the following updates:

• DXP Tokens and The DXP Store are no longer supported on Free to Play Worlds.

Sanctum of Rebirth

• The Divine Rage Skillguide Entry now shows the correct icon.
• Accuracy Fix: Corrected accuracy miscalculation and adjusted defense values for Sanctum of Rebirth bosses to maintain hit chance balance.
• VFX Tweaks: Implemented temporary visual effects tweaks in the Sanctum of Rebirth to improve performance for all players.
• Added a missing full stop to the end of Mekhat's dialogue.
• Vermyx: Reflected souls are counted correctly now when they spawned on the same tile.
• Fixed an issue with the despawn animation for the Neffie pet that resulted in stuttering when used as a familiar override.
• Fixed an issue that prevented a players' 'Nakatra, Devourer Eternal' killcount from being displayed when the Neffie pet was used as a familiar override.
• Fixed an issue with a line of Icthlarin's dialogue in the Soul Searching quest that would show the player's chathead instead of Icthlarin's.
• Fixed an issue that caused the rare drop spotanim in the Sanctum of Rebirth to disappear if a player used Surge at the same time as the spotanim triggers.
• Following feedback, reduced the Soulfire damage effectiveness in PvP from 50% to 30%.
• Nakatra's Shockwave attack also deals damage in the centre now.
• Fixed an issue where the broadcast message showed a higher kill number when a player got the Sanctum of Rebirth boss pet.
• Fixed an issue that made it possible to open the treasure chest outside of the Sanctum of Rebirth without entering the bank pin.
• Following feedback, the hitbox for Nefthys within the Sanctum of Rebirth has been increased slightly to make it easier to attack.
• Extended Safe Death: Enjoy safe death mechanics until 4th August.
• The Calendar entries for Sanctum of Rebirth and Free Death week are also extended until the 4th August.

Underworld Area Tasks

• Fixed an issue causing the B.Y.O.B. Elite Area Task to not be completed while wearing the Herblore Master Cape.
• Lupe now correctly mentions Underworld Area Tasks.
• Cut the moonstone' step from Passing the Test Hard Underworld Area Tasks can now be completed before completing the Mythical Moonstone achievement.

General

• The Ironman plaque in Edgeville has been updated to include:

• Corrected the polycolours on some NPCs to make them more consistent.
• Fixed a typo in a Spiked Gauntlets message.
• The Shadow Tendrils ability should now damage the player once while using Mechanised Chinchompas, making the ability single-target even if the weapon hits multiple NPCs at the same time.
• Various lines in the Ratcatchers quest have been updated to third person dialogue, rather than character dialogue.
• Fixed an issue with the 'Rainbow Unicorn Plushie' that caused it to stretch when equipped by the player.
• Clan Chat list and Falador Clan noticeboard now redirect to the clans section of the website.
• Readjusted the description for Race for the Soul achievements in order to make them more consistent.
• Imp Catcher quest Beads can now be reobtained after destroying or losing them.
• Fixed an issue with the Legiones boss collection log that showed a typo with the 'Legio quartulus' tooltip.
• Removed the Normal Mode kill requirements from the "Insane Final Boss" Achievement
• Fixed an issue that prevented Hermod and Rasial from taking reflect damage
• Fixed an issue that caused players to be able to complete Wilderness Flash Events before they properly scale up to the number of players participating.
• Players will no longer be able to convert Bonds into Membership Passcodes, existing codes will continue to function.
• Bonds still can be used to grant 14 Days of Membership to the account that activates them.

Rainbow Trail makes a return! Earn Rainbow Dust and spend it on multipliers for even more rewards! Features the "Rainbow Trail Aura" which will cause a trail of colour to follow as you run and walk!

Starts August 1st | Ends August 7th | Foresight+

It's time to train - but this time with extra foresight of your goals! This time around players will be able to use new powers to Reroll, Add Multipliers or even Freeze chests to let you choose your rewards and really show off your Foresight!
