Augmented Runecrafting & Thieving launches today! - This Week In RuneScape

Heads are turning and ears are tickling with talk of shiny new perks that'll level up your Artisan and Gathering game.

Augmented RuneCrafting and Thieving Update launches today, May 12th!

From Woodcutters to Archaeologists, Miners to Smiths, Runecrafters, Fishers, and even a few sneaky Thieves, Artisans all across Gielinor are gearing up to make the most of shiny new tools and perks.

• Up your Min-Max game with eight new perks related to Artisan and Gathering skills.
• Disassemble your way to new Offcut and Manufactured components.
• Manufacture two new skilling mainhands for Runecrafting and Thieving.

Trying out the new Invention perks or getting ready for the upcoming Crafting 110? Well, Double XP is here to help!

Double XP is a 10-day event where you have 48 hours of Double XP to use at your leisure. You can pause the timer if you'd like to do other activities. Double XP will be live from Friday May 16th until Monday May 26th, starting and ending at 12:00 Noon, Game Time. Learn more about how it works here! Want to make the most of DXP time? Look no further than our Double XP Bundles. Both bundles are available from May 16th until May 26th.

General

• Monty the Rubber Duckie can now be reclaimed from the Quest Storage Chest.
• CGIM players are now able to complete the Music Maestro Achievement.
• Fixed an issue that would allow the anima bomb attack at Telos to be cast during the cutscene, resulting in the player character being instakilled by the attack after the cutscene ends.
• Updated the Achievements UI to ensure each tier of Vorago's achievements now displays properly.
• Burning eternal magic logs on a bonfire or portable brazier now takes 6 ticks rather than 11 ticks, similar to other high-level core logs.
• Fixed an issue which blocked the players from using 'Teleport to Lodestone' button within the minigames tab when teleporting to the Circus whenever the activity takes place in Rimmington.
• Players can no longer get stuck from falling debris during the escape sequence of Barrows: Rise of the Six.

Engine

• Fixed an issue where guest chat was also sent additionally to group channels.
• Fixed an issue with Clan/GIM broadcasts being duplicated unintentionally. This issue is resilient and may persist in some instances, if you do run into a duplicated broadcast please report it via the in game systems to help us pinpoint it.

Starts May 13th | Ends May 14th | Choosedays

It's Tuesday, which means it's Chooseday! Players will be able to choose between three different promotions and spend their keys as they wish! This promotion will include different options in the future but for this run it will have Assassin's Return, Tinkerer's Trail and Genie's Wishes.

Starts May 15th | Ends May 21th | DXP Dozen

Dive into this DXP-themed Dozen promotion! Choose prizes to fill up gems and crack 'em open to win from your chosen selection!
