Preparing for the Eclipse - This Week In RuneScape

Eclipse of the Heart is the long-awaited finale of one of RuneScape’s oldest and most beloved storylines, a saga spanning 24 years. What began as a simple mission to rescue Prince Ali has grown into a sprawling journey through time, unearthing forgotten gods, exposing ancient betrayals, and shaping the very fate of Gielinor itself.

Next week, on July 28th you will be able to dive right into an apocalyptical showdown with Amascut! Get prepared by completing the previous quests, including Pharaoh's Folly!

And don't forget the following week on August 4th to join us live on Twitch as we watch the best PvMers take on the Amascut, In a Race to World First!

Our first MTX Experiment on the path to permanent change for the game is on the way. It's time to test out disabling Treasure Hunter.

Between July 22nd and July 28th 2025 Treasure Hunter will be deactivated. During this time you will not be able to purchase or use Treasure Hunter Keys. In place of Treasure Hunter, Bonus XP Bundles & Knowledge Bomb bundles will be available in the store. These are capped at one purchase, per bundle, per day.

What you can expect when you log in is to see that Treasure Hunter is disabled, but still visible. Attempting to open Treasure Hunter will show that we've disabled it, along with some additional information on what will happen with Daily Keys as you will still earn Daily Keys any day you log in during the Experiment, though they will not be visible. You'll see your missed Daily Keys appear once the Experiment is over.

They will be available for use on the first login day after the Experiment ends.

Hotfixed

• Sapphires, Emeralds and the salvage dropped by Arch Glacor on zero to one mechanics are now noted.
• Super Magic Potions are now noted when dropped by Kerapac in Normal and Hard mode.
• Resolved an issue where players could still receive Bakriminel bolts from Sack of Very Wild Rewards.
• Resolved an issue that caused the Plant Cure spell to accidentally transform some herbs into others.

General

• Raksha's Boss Collection Log now reflects the new drop table. Players who previously received all of the unique drops excluding the removed boots will now complete the achievement upon log-in.
• Manuscripts of Jas now are two per loot pile.
• Fixed an issue that prevented players from being able to purchase tokens present in the Fio's Finest store.
