Crafting for Success.

The Crafting Guild has undergone a major transformation and is now a haven for artisans of all kinds. From potters to tailors, jewellers to inventors, if you’re looking to craft, the guild has a place for you.

All the original amenities are still here, Tanner is available to tan hides, the "Almost Master Crafters" continue to sell various crafting items, the Pottery Oven, Pottery wheels and Sink will help you with the new urns, The Furnace is ready to smelt Platinum bars for the new Jewellery & The Invention bench is available for your tinkering needs.

The Loom and Spinning Wheel are joined by the new Tailoring tools for crafting Magic Armour, which we will talk about a little later.

Alongside the old amenities, there are a few new ones, including a Sandpit beside the Furnace, a Dairy churn and a Well in the cow pen and 2 new Bank chests are available once you have completed the Falador Hard Tasks; otherwise, the Bank Deposit box is still available for use.

Wait a second, where's me Gold

Alongside the new building, the general geography of the guild has had a couple of changes. First and most importantly, the Hobgoblins still have their peninsula, despite all the renovations they have happily continued to chill on their sandy spot.

Secondly, the Cow pen is no longer available to non-guild members. It is accessed via a door in the guild now.

And finally, the Gold/Silver/Clay mineable rocks have been moved to a nearby cave that is accessible via the lift next to the furnace.

Blooming with the Stars

If you've ever braved the depths of Daemonheim, you'll know that magic armour there is crafted by harvesting plant fibers, spinning them into cloth, and shaping that cloth into powerful gear.

With this update, that method is coming to the wider world of Gielinor, thanks to a little help from the Star Sprites. Enter the magical Starbloom Flower.

These flowers hail from the Sprites’ home world and really, who wouldn't want to grow magical, otherworldly flowers right in their own backyard? This addition helps make Farming a more meaningful part of your crafting journey. And as of this week's update, you can already start planting and harvesting Starbloom Seeds at level 100 Farming.

You’ll find them by slaying monsters, picking the pockets of NPCs, defeating select bosses, and even mining large Shooting Stars!

Once you get a hold of the seeds you'll need a Battlestaff to plant them, similar to how Grapes are grown using planks to plant them and from there you can use apply your Farming knowledge to raise Starbloom Flowers

Once you have your flowers then it's onto the crafting process!

Cosmic Clothing: Starbloom Armour

Crafting an outfit involves a complex series of steps, drawing patterns, cutting cloth, trimming, sewing, stitching, and dozens more, that we've often streamlined in favour of a simpler system. With this update, we’re not turning everyone into seasoned tailors, but we are adding a few more steps to the usual make-x process.

Here’s a rundown of the process once you’ve gathered the flowers. From this point on, all the tools you’ll need to craft the Starbloom Armour can be found in the newly renovated Crafting Guild.

Starbloom Flowers can be spun at a Spinning Wheel to create Starbloom Thread. Starbloom Thread can then be processed at a Loom to be turned into Starbloom Cloth.

Next you take the Starbloom Cloth over to the Pattern Table and create an Unfinished Draft. You're able to create multiple drafts at a time.

Bring your drafts to the Drafting Table to begin working on the first 30% of each piece. You'll process the drafts sequentially, one by one. Occasionally, you’ll notice a flashing glow at the table—this indicates a focus window. If you interact with the table again during this window, you’ll make extra progress and avoid a miscut.

Each item can sustain up to five miscuts before it must be taken to the Repair Table for a quick fix, much like reheating an item in Smithing. The Repair Table is located right next to the Pattern Table.

Once a piece has reached 30% progress, you move on to a Tailor's Dummy, where you will continue refining the piece for the remaining 70% until completion. As with the drafting table, you will occasionally find a focus window where you can either gain additional progress or make a miscut.

Throughout this process, you will be using regular Thread, so either stock up or bring your Crafting Skillcape!

When you have completed an item, you can go ahead and start wearing your new garment or if you wish to improve it further, up to +5, you can take it back to the Pattern Table alongside additional cloth to enhance it. At the max upgrade, the armour can then be Adorned at a Tailor's display in the Crafting Guild for a bigger chunk of XP, discarding the armour pieces in the process.

Once you're all finished drafting, cutting, and sewing, you'll have your very own set of Starbloom Armour. Similar to crafted gear from Smithing, this T85 tank armour provides a life bonus and can be upgraded to T90 tank armour.

Crafted from otherworldly flora and unwavering dedication, this outfit offers both protection and style, but it’s not the most powerful armour you can craft in this update.

Masterwork Magic Armour

Reaching level 110 Crafting and crafting a full +5 Starbloom Set unlocks the ability to craft the Masterwork Magic Armour!

An elegant set of armour, these robes will require some platinum plates, which is out of the norm for magic armour. Use your Magic and Runecrafting skills to imbue the metal turning it ethereal, keeping you lightweight but protected!

This armour set is T100 Power Armour, offering a bonus to Magic damage, a Life bonus, and the same set effect as the Melee Masterwork set.

For each piece equipped, 10% of incoming damage is delayed and spread over the next 6 seconds—up to 50% with all five pieces. This gives the set a unique balance of defense and offense, positioning it as a hybrid option between Cryptbloom and Tectonic.

As a master crafter yourself you'll have no need to go to someone to custom-fit these robes for you, they're already tailored to fit! To craft this outfit, you'll draw on your skills in Runecrafting, Smithing, Magic, and Crafting through an intricate process reminiscent of creating other Masterwork gear.

We don't want to give away the process or materials required but maybe keep some Pearls at hand if you plan on crafting this armour.

Star Platinum

Looking to add some extra sparkle to your style? Why not accessorise with the fanciest flex in precious metals, Platinum!

Minable at level 104 Mining, Platinum can be found gleaming proudly between two very scenic extremes: just south of the Piscatoris Fishing Colony and north of the ever-toasty Ruins of Uzer in the Kharidian Desert. Bring water. And style.

Smelting this precious ore into bars unlocks the ability to craft a dazzling new range of platinum jewellery—including a brand-new addition: the Anklet, worn in the Boots slot. Creating platinum jewellery requires Dragonstone gems, so be sure to stock up before you get crafting.

This update will also introduce a new tier of "Exquisite urns" for each of the existing urn skills, with 1 unlocking every level from 102 to 110 Crafting. These Exquisite urns are made with a new material, Porcelain, require more XP to fill and give more XP than decorated urns, and as part of creation, require a gemstone.

Check out this table for the full picture

Skill Level Gem Rune
Mining 102 Jade Earth
Cooking 103 Red Topaz Fire
Fishing 104 Sapphire Water
Smithing 105 Ruby Fire
Woodcutting 106 Diamond Earth
Runecrafting 107 Dragonstone Pure Essence
Divination 108 Dragonstone Mind
Hunter 109 Opal Mud
Farming 110 Emerald Nature

This new Porcelain will exclusively be found in a cave at the Everlight Archaeology site. So, get ready to gear up with your best mining kit, as you will need 102 Mining to gather this resource yourself!

The water that pours into the cave from Everlight's surface is filled with special mineral properties, enhancing the quality of the Porcelain clay, making it both sturdier and better to craft with.

While you are mining in the cave, you will notice that periodically the streams will switch flows. You should try mining the rocks beside the active stream as while the water is flowing nearby you will receive already softened clay, saving you the trouble of lugging it all to a sink!

Oh! You'll also find that Smelting urns are now Smithing urns and work while both smelting and smithing bars.

Now Go Forth and Craft Your Legacy

Whether you’re tailoring elegant robes, setting radiant gems in precious metals or sculpting clay into ornate urns, this update deepens one of Gielinor’s most expressive and rewarding skills.

With new materials to master, powerful gear to create, and fresh ways to shape the world around you, Crafting continues its evolution as a true artisan’s pursuit. We look forward to seeing all your new crafts!
