A few weeks ago we announced a competition, in which RuneScape’s community were given the chance to voice characters within Gielinor. We were staggered by the number of you who took part by sending us your dulcet tones and, after listening to every one of them, Mods Lord and Ian have chosen two excellent winners.
These two vocal geniuses are the first members of the RuneScape community to feature in the game or in the official credits on the website.
So without further ado, the winner for the wounded soldier is Falcon zb. His particular brand of self-pity and misery was truly inspiring, and will add something special to the triage tent:
The wounded soldier winner really got into character and we thought that he actually sounded in pain. He provided two great performances with a variety of groans that gave us lots of options to choose from.

CielFury really gave it her best shot in this varied and hotly-contested category. Her effort truly stood out among the matronly, formidable, quiet, caring, humorous, and even deep-voiced entries sent in:
The nurse winner offered a range of styles but we opted for a balance of strict but friendly. We found her to be both sympathetic and reassuring, two qualities that matched the character she was portraying.
