66 Combat Ability Overrides and 18 Cosmetic Outfits will be available on the Marketplace, purchasable directly with Runecoins. These items draw from a variety of past sources, including Treasure Hunter, Hero Pass, and Yak Track.

As many of you are probably aware, there were some server instability issues during our last Double XP. The team have been working hard on this and we're continuing to take any steps possible to minimize potential disruption.

Unfortunately this has happened multiple times during this last run of Double XP. A significant portion of the player base doesn't even come close to maxing out their time in Double XP, and we know those few hours of disruption striking at the wrong time can be quite a hit for some folks' plans. If you are one of those players, know that we've seen your feedback and we do apologize for the disruption.

In recognition of added disruption on top of all the disruption over the Experiments, Mod Hooli recently reached out to the community about a suggestion - to enable a Mini DXP to give some of this time back prior to Leagues.

After discussing it both internally and within the community, we will be going ahead with the following proposal:

• 12 hours of Double XP (reduced from initial proposal of 24 hours)
• This makes the overall time offered more aligned to the hours of disruption in DXP
• All eligible players (ie. Non-Irons) will have access to this Double XP period
• We would run the event from Monday September 8 - Sunday September 14
• This causes some slight overlap with Need for Mead, but gives more flexibility on time
• Sunday finish means there's a gap between DXP and Leagues opening on Monday.
• There will be no restrictions on items. This will be a standard DXP with all associated elements you'd expect, including the Double XP Token Store.

We reviewed many ideas from players and developers, weighing up the pros and cons of all options. A Mini DXP was our best approach as we could thread the needle of responding to those who this deeply impacted while not impacting surrounding projects such as Leagues.

While we've matched the Double XP time to be slightly less than the overall disruption, we know some of you don't want to see more Double XP available than we have today. In fact, some of you want to see less. That feedback matters too.

As a response to that feedback, we've also committed to exploring your requests to reduce the overall availability of Double XP in the game. We'll do this openly with players beginning in our usual Winter DXP window (early 2026).

Hotfixed

• We've returned the ability to place Combat Dummies within the following boss instances, whilst we review how we want them to work within PvM scenarios:
• Solak, Nex: Angel of Death, Vorago, Elite Dungeons, Tz-Kal Zuk, Kerapac, Raksha, and Telos

General

• Added the overhead chat back to Nakatra, this was unintentionally removed during the VO update.
• Added in a calendar entry for Leagues: Catalyst, which is scheduled to release on 15th September 2025.
