In Case You Missed It + Our Reactions to Last Week
- Last week we launched one big game update and shared two insights into work in progress:
- DailyScape Overhaul Launch
- Preview of Visual Declutter with a Focus on Combat
- Preview of Player Owned House Rework & 120 Construction
- Our patch notes section has all the information about what's getting updated or fixed today, but here are a couple key highlights on relevant topics from last weeks community discussions:
- Rebalanced Red and Crystal Sandstone to have reduced hitpoints - this will make them quicker to mine than their most recent rebalance.
- Fixed an issue where players would lose slayer points if they exceeded the max points cap and completed a reaper task.
- Improved game performance by changing tree draw-distances and clickboxes. Our monitoring of performance continues, but we expect players should already see some improvements from today's changes.
If you're keen for more of a general recap of how far we've come already on the Road to Restoration, Mod Ryan has you covered too.

Havenhythe Part 1 – Discover a New Land
A New Adventure Begins
Today a brand new landmass arrives in RuneScape. Welcome to Havenhythe.

Found to the east of Morytania, Havenhythe is a quiet and mysterious place with a long history behind it. Once home to ancient civilisations, strange magic, and stories long forgotten, the island has mostly been left to time.
Your journey begins with a vision when you visit the the Rusty Anchor in Port Sarim. A warning of something stirring beyond the sea. Before long you will find yourself setting sail to see what is really waiting there.
Havenhythe marks the beginning of a brand new story that will unfold across the year. It's also a chance for us to lean back into something that sits right at the heart of RuneScape. Exploration, strange characters, smaller grounded adventures, and plenty of things for players to discover for themselves.
If you prefer to go in and explore by yourself with as little information as possible, stop here and jump right into the game!
Or if you're keen to see what you can expect, you can read more about Havenhythe in our launch blog here or maybe you want to dive into the Dev Diary

Youtooz Legacy Style Figures!
Order now!
Last chance to order one of these figures for your shelf or monitor. Orders close on 27th March!

Rune Armour
Forged for battle and ready for adventure, this Youtooz figure brings the legacy style rune armour set to your shelf. Equipped with a Rune Scimitar, Full Helm, and the iconic Ardougne Cape flowing behind him, this warrior looks like he’s just walked away from a legendary fight with Elvarg. And honestly… if he hadn’t, at least one of those armour pieces would still be adamant.
Dragon Armour
Pure flex fashionscape is on show. This figure captures a warrior mid-stride, clad in legacy style Dragon Med Helm, Dragon Chainbody, Dragon Platelegs, and Dragon Boots, frozen in heroic action. With an Amulet of Glory resting proudly around his neck and a Dragon Scimitar at the ready, he’s clearly no stranger to epic questlines. The Legends Cape draped across his back seals the deal with proof he’s battled, explored, and earned his place among Gielinor’s elite.
Monitor Buddies
Straight from the classic 2004 login screen, Tim & Crunchy return in collectible form thanks to Youtooz. Carefully balanced to sit proudly above your monitor setup, bringing a playful watchful presence to your set up, looking ready to tag along on every grind, quest, and boss run.
Get yours here.

- Fixed an issue where there was still a reference to the 'Rune Goldberg Machine' on the runecrafting skillcape variants.
- Removed a quickchat entry that was unintentionally missed during the DailyScape Improvements update relating to Wilderness Flash Events.
- Removed the 'Reset available in:' text from the beasts tab for Beastmaster Durzag and Yakamaru since the reset is no longer in-game following the DailyScape changes.
