We’d like to once again thank you for your patience whilst the team has continued their investigations of foul play during the Deadman: Armageddon Finale event.
This investigation has been very thorough, meaning it has taken quite some time – it extends past our standard Deadman checks, as you've rightly pointed out areas of investigation that go beyond just Deadman. Our investigation has led us to look into Old School accounts too, ensuring every area we can explore for more information has been mined to give us a complete picture.
We know you’re eager to hear of any further action being taken. We’re happy to inform you that we are now in the final stage of this process, and we expect to close the matter with our final update to you next week, in the form of a newspost on the Old School website, after the UK Bank Holiday.

Thank you for your patience as the team has been investigating foul play during the Deadman Armageddon Finale event. Investigations are ongoing, but we'd like to offer you an update in the meantime. Rest assured, we are taking this very seriously.
Since the finale ended, we have issued unappealable permanent bans to over 140 accounts. To clarify - this means they have been banned from Old School entirely, and not just Deadman.
We would like to carry out further additional checks before we are able to fully announce the winners, and we will provide more information on this when we are able to do so. Any further bans will also be included within our winners announcement post.
If you feel like you have any information regarding foul play in Deadman that may aid our investigations, please send an email to tipoff@jagex.com ensuring the Subject Body is “DMM 2024” and any links included are from imgur, YouTube, Gyazo or Streamable ONLY. Please note that the team will not reply to any emails sent to this address.
Deadman Armageddon has come to an end, and what a ride it has been! Over the last two weeks we saw a huge amount of players get involved and we'd like to thank everybody who tried the game content.
Following each Deadman, we take measures to ensure that players were participating fairly. Over the next few days our team will be performing the necessary checks and conducting investigations to deduce the validity of the winners.
This means there will be some time before we can fully announce the winners and celebrations can occur.
Rest assured we will take swift action against any participants who broke the rules. Look out for more information regarding this in the upcoming Deadman Armageddon: Winners announcement newspost.
