Let's give you the latest on what's on our radar!
It is always recommended that once a hotfix has been deployed to open the Area/Relic/Task interfaces.
It's been a jam-pact'd sixth leagues! We've seen you running around Varlamore exploring new areas you've not seen properly or before, finally getting started on your journey towards your ultimate bluetooth hally or pure tank builds and dodging the fires around the outskirts of Yama's lair in rhythmic fashion.
We're excited to continue to see what other amazing adventures you'll embark on this league, we've been contracted by Yama to make sure any outstanding issues are being looked into. And the team is hard at work to ensure we're keeping the league as smooth as possible (or forfeit our souls in the process) by combing through all of the issues and feedback you've raised.
This page is to give you an idea of the things we're currently looking at and what sort of priority these things have on our lists. Please note that while we're trying to give you as much information as possible with what's on our radar, some things might take longer than expected to resolve, require a coldfix (game reboot) or be shifted to prioritise a newer and more severe issue.
We'll look to keep the list below up to date as best we can as issues are resolved. The best way to let us know of a problem is via the in-game 'Bug Report' function! Before we delve into the current roster, we've also got a few handy pieces of information that might just help with a few of the issues you may have experienced:
PLAYER AWARENESS INFO
As we've seen some different interpretations "Whenever your combat spells Regenerate air runes, you have a 15% chance to restore 1 prayer point PER RUNE regenerated", we'd like to clarify:
- If 10 runes are regenerated, you'll gain 150% chance. This means you'll always get 1 Prayer Point and have a 50% chance to get another.
If you have Barbarian Gathering and are struggling to complete any tasks that require you to equip a tool (i.e. 'Mine some Ore With a Steel Pickaxe'), try equipping the tool.
The Loot Tracker on RuneLite is currently counting 2 Implings being caught instead of one due to the loot multiplying. Players can right-click their butterfly net or magic butterfly net to open the impling tracker interface to check.
We'd recommend enabling back-to-back Hunter rumours if you're making use of so-called 'block lists' since the Hunters at the Hunters Guild will default to assigning you Jerboa if they aren't able to assign anything else (meaning if you can only obtain one rumour, complete that rumour and then ask for a new one, you won't be able to be assigned your desired rumour and will assign you Jerboa).
For players who have completed Death on the Isle and wondering where any items have gone, speak to the Head Butler once again to retrieve any items removed.

BEYOND LEAGUES VI | 29TH APRIL
While we've got a roster of fixes on our radar and set our priorities, this has meant that some issues you've raised won't be fixed within this League.
Rathering than leaving you to speculate, we'd rather be up front and set your expectations on what should be fixed. While this isn't the complete list, the issues below have been raised to be investigated for a future Leagues if we revisit those mechanics or features.
- The Shadowflame Quadrant isn't functioning as expected at the Doom of Mokhaiotl.
- Thorns don't work against Shades from the Shades of Mort'ton Minigame.
- Endless Harvest doesn't auto-move with Karambwanji or the Shark spot in Priffdinas.
- The Blue Moon Spear doesn't work with the 'Melee at Range' Pacts.
- Natures accord is failing to note Tree Roots.
- Loot from Master Farmers that goes into a Seed Box with Larcenist is not multiplied by 10x.
- While Wintertodt is covered by the drop rate modifier, it isn't covered by the 'Minigame' boost.
- Minion to have more customisable looting, such as clues and untradeables.
- The Clue Contract teleports a player to a tile they cannot move on for the 'Read "How to breed scorpions" By O.W.Thathurt.' Clue step.
- Thorns isn't triggering against an enemy attack that doesn't trigger a hitsplat.
- The Flask of Fervour isn't damaging certain enemies within the Chambers of Xeric.
- Blindbag is less effective with alot of movement, sometimes losing out on hits.
- Blindbag is removing offhand items with Kitted Scythes.
- If you have a Battleaxe in triggered with Blindbag, it stays equipped.
When it comes to the Demonic Pacts specifically, while we could spend the rest of the League tweaking and balancing Pacts to hopefully push those builds that feel weaker to a better place, the balancing of this particular system warrants plenty of time.
Touching on something we said previously, we don't want to spend the rest of the league 'chasing our tail' by constantly shifting the current balance of the Pacts. While not perfect, we think players are in a better spot with the extra resets and tasks we've added and we would hate to create any more 'pact regret'.
We really appreciate all the feedback and discussions we've seen around the new experimental system and we'll be looking to implement what we can if we are to revisit the Pacts in the future!
OUR PROPOSAL FOR PACTS | 20TH APRIL
We've seen plenty of you trying out our new take on the Combat Mastery system. With plenty of options and plenty of potential, we've already seen a huge roster of diversity when it comes to how you tackle combat. For starters, every pact has been chosen at least once but with countless potential builds - we've not even scratched the surface!
While there has been plenty of fun, we are also very aware of your feedback regarding the Demonic Pacts system. This morning, the team got together and we are proposing some changes to make this a bit nicer for everyone!
First up, we know there has been a bunch of feedback around resets. Not only just the amount available but also how you acquire them. This can feel like quite a hefty ask for a player to undertake, especially when it comes to more casual players and those unfamiliar with similar systems.
The current system allows for 3 full resets (a total of 4 builds) with each reset coming from your first 3 unique Echo Boss kills. We always wanted this system to feel meaningful and not trivialise your progression or level of power. Although from a player’s perspective, when compared to previous Leagues and especially Grid Master it is much slower, even if intentional. This was mainly to slow down the progress compared to the pace that shot up from Leagues V and would allow more time for players to explore Varlamore, a fresh area to lots of players!
While these design goals are still something we want to keep for this league, it is also important for us to ensure the system still feels fun. So, for our first change, you may have seen that Yama has been truly kind and given everyone a reset for no extra cost! While this is free, it should still be used wisely!
Secondly for later this week, we are also going to give another unlockable reset. This one will be everyone's first 'extra' reset as we're adding this onto the 'Defeat Hueycoatl 1 Time' task. Anyone that has already done this task will have the reset added after this week's game update.
Another big piece of feedback we have seen is in the power of the neutral pacts not feeling strong enough to be effective. Especially when it comes to fighting specific bosses with a high defence in X style or protection against said style, can make it feel more difficult than powerful.
To combat this, we are looking to make the following changes to the neutral pacts:
- Increase Prayer Penetration pacts from 15% to 25%.
- Increase small accuracy pacts from 15% to 25% & big accuracy pacts from 35% to 50%.
- Include an additional 10% accuracy to all +1% damage pacts.
We feel these buffs will make a significant enough impact to ensure that all builds are gaining a meaningful difference where it matters most. This means that with 1 big accuracy pact, 3 smaller accuracy pacts and 2 damage pacts, you'd be gaining and additional +65% more accuracy! Being able to actually hit the boss should help a lot more when you've picked a build that isn't too good against certain NPCs.
You'll see these changes come with this week's game update.
Next on our list is those demonic looking baddies. In the same vein as the above feedback point, some builds just feel incredibly weak against certain bosses, which can feel bad when you've been working towards a specific style for the last 20 hours.
The team are going to look at all Echo Bosses across the board and balance the most egregious outliers to make sure that all builds have a decent chance against these bosses. This also mean we'll be investigating reports of thorns not working correctly against Echo Bosses and checking Mage & Range pacts inside the gauntlet too.
While we cannot give you all of the specifics just yet we can at least let you know how we're changing Echo Amoxliatl:
- Range Defence lowered from 200 to 40
- Magic Defence lowered from 100 to 20
Keep an eye out for more information once we've finalised the specific changes!
Another thing the team would like to explore is how players acquire Pact Points. As it can take a handful of points to start truly seeing the power and benefit of the Demonic Pacts, the current roster of tasks makes it difficult to get a good head start in your build, meaning the power comes much later than most would like.
With this is mind, the team would like to see if there are some 'better' ways of getting points earlier. There's a few options we could go down here, whether this is replacing some tasks with others, adding additional ones or something in between. If the team look to change anything here, one thing we will not be doing is increasing the total amount of points you'll be able to get, so you'll still have 40 max regardless of how we progress.
The team are open to hear your thoughts on which direction we should go but please note that if we proceed with these changes they won't be available until at least next week's game update.
While we've seen other feedback regarding specific builds and their power, we don't want to jump the gun too early and end up chasing our own tail. Instead, we would rather start by making more meaningful, widespread changes to fix those issues first, before diving into any specific and consistent problems.
The team will continue to monitor the Demonic Pacts very closely and make any necessary changes after the above fixes have been implemented. It's important to us the spirit of the system and this league remains but without compromising the fun and freedom of this new system.
Alongside these changes, we'll still be keeping this newspost up to date with all of the known issues and when they have been fixed, so bookmark this page for all the latest. This week's update will also be happening on Thursday instead of Wednesday this week. This will be at the regular time with the regular downtime, just a day later.
