Hero Pass - Player Feedback Update #3

To the RuneScape community,


Following on from our update last Friday we wanted to remain in contact with you all and update you on the progress we are making.


Last week we told you we would disable some of the paid options in the new Hero Pass and remove Content Buffs. This was delivered on Monday with the game update.

We also said we would reinstate Daily Challenges as part of these interim fixes;

  • The team are still working hard to bring this feature back, with the prior mechanics and rewards.
  • Current estimates from the team are to have this back in place by early October.
  • This week, we added 3 Treasure Hunter Keys and 3 Large Prismatic Lamps to the Daily Mission rewards, while this is being worked on.

    • Next week we will be following up with our preliminary thoughts on the balancing of the Hero Pass. We will also share details of the upcoming Community Consultation process in a separate news post.
