Update (19/4): many of the issues reported have been the result of the new client caching data when it is first played. Please have patience and these issues will resolve when your game is fully loaded.
We'd encourage you to start your NXT experience as soon as you possibly can. However, please be aware that until your game cache is fully loaded (see the cog-wheel in the bottom-right-hand corner of the log-in screen), you may not have optimal performance.
Your cache will load in the background as you play. However certain graphics and animations may take longer to render until the caching process is complete.
If you continue to experience issues, please head to the support centre for further advice.
While most of you are enjoying NXT, we're aware of some players experiencing issues when trying to launch the NXT Client.
Currently we're under extreme load from our Content servers which the Client uses to connect to download the data which gives you an optimal game experience.
If you're not successfully reaching the login screen on the NXT Client we suggest restarting the Client as it should only take a few minutes to get that far.
As it stands we're hoping the load decreases as the day goes on for the meantime you can of course continue to play in the world of Gielinor in the Java Client as you pre-load the NXT Client.
We apologise for the disruption to your NXT launch experience and we're doing everything we can to help mitigate this.
